Well what can I tell you all out there except I am an avid GSD person and love the breed so much that I am involved in trying to uderstand the reasoning behind why some people even have a GSD let alone a dog. I have searched the internet and have seen and heard the most ridiculous reasons for having a GSD. In our country, Australia, we have one breed club, as per the ANKC rulings and abide by the rules set down by Germany who are the overseaers of the breed. Nothing wrong with that. BUT WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO RECREATE THE BREED. My reasoning is because they have no respect for the breed and are only trying to recreate their own lives and try to prove that they can do what they want when they want. Then who copes the flak. We do! Who then has to re educate the public? WE DO!Who then has to fix all the genetic problems that are associated with people who call themselves lovers of the breed. WE DO! If you love the breed why change it and why are these people the absentees at conformation shows where if they are right they should attend. No show is the most usual for these people. So why not work together and help create the best breed in the world be the healthest, overall working dog and most beautiful dog in the dog world of today By the way I want a BLACK PALAMINO HORSE. Can anyone out the tell where there is one.

Palomino is a color registry. Perhaps what you want is a liver chestnut or a chocolate palomino. Saying you want a black palomino is saying something like you want a black White Registry GSD.

I only said that cause there are so many out there who are breeding the incorrect colours and reckon that they are working dogs. When you try to ask why they get all offended like the lady who is breeding brown and blue long coats and calls them 'rare'. I know all about colours and I also know that the GSD DOES not come in 'white' even though the British bred paling to paling and got themselves the paling and almost white dogs. Here we have a group who reckon the the great grandfather of Herand the 1st registered GSD was a white?????? how do they reckon that when then the breed was created from a group of sheep herding dogs that stephanitz thought could be the perfect sheep herding dog due to movement and attitude.
