On even date, Mica made posting under Front Assembly which inexplicably materialised among 9/12 postings.
As model of lucidity and clear writing - speechless!
In it, she questions notion of measuring animal's body lenght by using hand to establish lenght of croup, and thence thrice that distance for body. And, likens it to no more but some nonsensical party trick!
When method was first raised I tried it on nearby critter and, came pretty well to same conclusion!
And, I can think of number of other reasons, looking past idea's superficial elegance, why it's flawed.
I think it be interesting to receive further comment.
