Definately all the posters are correct here..................so run for the nearest GSD Rescue like we did this evening.   What state do you live in.  Our girl was $91. to pull out of that hell hole.   She had only been there a month.

After you do more research, you will be able to tell these "Importers/Breeders/Swindlers"

Why you are NOT ABLE to be a victim to such thievery!!!!!!!!!!

I imported my dream team from Germany.   It took me 2 years and 20k, but I did my homework, and have 16 world class pups that were born in the last 2 years.

www.hasshaus.com

I know you'll make a better choice,  and with the exception of Peta......please do donate for our GSD's left out of homes, or abandoned because it got to expensive to feed them, and too time consuming to give them the pleasure of excersize...

Yes Trish is right.  I know many a breeder or sports person with the goal to breed, compete and title and have a plan in mind for a top bitch or stud dog, but they research and get facts, proof and have the set up and the kennels, and the place already in place for the DOG THEY SPENT 20,000.00  or  up to 50,000.00 for a male and a female  , already titled and fully proven and with all the proper documentation in place.

Many take a trip to Germany , Belgium or other countries for that purpose. And they only buy from referred buyers from someone already using these kennels and have excellent reputations over and over again. Not an ad on a database.

This poster doesnt have that plan or goal.

It seems obvious to me from the details of the photo, the picture of Ben is distorted.  Resizing to get the photo to fit in that spot on the website was done extremely poorly.  The dog isn't as badly proportioned as it appears.  Diego's photo looks to have lost the original ratio when it was resized as well...just not as bad as Ben's photo.

The quality of the dogs seems clear even with the distorted photos.  The price is on the high end of what one might pay for an import that has sifted through a reseller's hands.  I would think of $6000-12000 as not being out of range, but would expect perfect hips and elbows, stable temperament, and some type of real title.  Don't dream of spending that kind of money without first going and meeting any dog you are considering.  When you meet the dog, accompany the dog and owner to a thorough vet exam.

I know of 3 very nice dogs, excellent with children, other dogs and cats who are looking for new homes.  The homes placing them are looking for a nominal adoption fee.  These are quality animals from imported stock and are being displaced from their homes through no fault of their own (family life situation change).  If you are looking for an adult and are willing to consider a rescue, these dogs are outstanding, quality animals with excellent temperaments.

Ah, that's what I suspected.  The photo distorted when they added it to their website.  I saved the photo to my desktop then opened the photo, the true ratio revelaed itself.  The dog is very nice.

His proportions look very correct.  Is he worth 15K?  Perhaps to the right person he is?

i did the same with Diego's photo.  It too was out of proportion.  Why didn't anyone else notice this?

These dogs are absolutely gorgeous!   I'm not sure of the source they are coming from?  i'd be happy to own either of these fine animals.
