We have our club trial on May 9th, but if you still don't have minimum entries by then let me know, I can double-title my two dogs (one BH and one Schh1) if I can come up for Sunday only. Would be happy to help in that way if needed.

Do you have to have a WDA scorebook and does the dog have to be registered with WDA. Crap, I guess I would need to be a member of the WDA also.
What will you be offering on Friday only. Unfortunately have prior committments on Saturday and Sunday. But, don't think I'd be able to anyway....

Okay. I just got off the phone with the WDA office.
Here's the good news (news to me, but this is our first official WDA official trial)
ANY SCORE BOOK FROM ANY FCI SANCTIONED ORGANIZATION IS JUST FINE FOR A WDA TRIAL! That includes USA, and/or the back of your SV papers!
You DO NOT have to be a member of ANY club or ANY organization. Your dog doesn't even have to be registered with AKC (or anybody else for that matter)
Bring what you have, and if you don't have anything, bring that, and $15., and we'll take care of it for you. You'll get your "new" score book, score(s) neatly endorsed in it, in a couple of weeks.
Want to do a BH on Friday before the AD?
No problem.
Can't squeeze a $60. room into your budget?
No problem. Bring your sleeping bag and a crate mat. I'll try not to step on you on my way to the kitchen to make coffee in the morning.
Can't fit enough crates for all your entries (and the dogs nobody will be home to take care) of in your car?
No problem. I have lots of crates and plenty of space for them in the basement and the kennel building.
We will bend over backwards to accommodate EVERYONE.
I think its written right into our club by-laws.
What we lack in fancy white fences, we make up in hospitality!

We will have pix. We have a professional photographer coming + whatever we take ourselves.
I am going down to measure out the bike path down along the canal today for the AD.
Then I'll try to get some help moving the scaling wall under cover so I can let it dry, (its raining) sand and paint it.
So much to do, so little time... I wish I had a troop of laborers this week. I took the week off, but there's always too much to do. LOL
I forgot how much work it is to hold one of these things.

I just hope we get some more SchH entries. There are 3 competing events in our area the same weekend, 2 trials and a show. Hard to convince folks to come out to the sticks when there's so much going on everywhere else. Our club helper cut his hand badly 2-3 weeks ago, so I will have no dogs ready in protection.
Figures... I spend a month or two's pay and don't have a dog ready, have to travel for my dogs' titles.
Oh well, it gets me out of the house.

Shelley, kudos for making your event so very user friendly. If I had a dog ready, I'd enter!
