The route for the AD is not on the map. Its a bike path along the old coal canal, start point in Weissport, not far from the Lehigh River.

How long is the AD trail before you have to turn around? I.e., how many passes to make 12 miles?

hmmm - I could also have at least one dog do the AD -  hmmmm - thinking now...

Shelley, Has it been determined yet what day the BHs will be? Thanks, Theresa

Good Luck with the trial. I hope you all have great weather (cool and sunny, Light rain the night before for tracking), correct judging, camaraderie and dogs who don't realize it's a trial. :-)

At this point we have NO SchH 2 or 3  entries. We can do any level on whatever day you can make it, (except AD, only Friday evening) I do need to know if you're  coming for 1,2,3 as soon as possible for scheduling purposes. Officially those will be done on Saturday, but as I said, we are flexible!

Very depressing. When I used to host trials several times a year in CA the entry was full within days of announcment. (and all my guest rooms, RV, sofa in living rom and office reserved... ;-) Our helper picked a bad time to get hurt. I had hoped to put the SchH 1 on at least 2 dogs next weekend. No training = no trialing. I may even throw old T in for something, missing/broken teeth and all, just to give people more to look at. T hasn't trained since last August, but I'm betting he remembers... LOL

Please come Molly. We need an old hand like you on the field to show 'em how its supposed to be done!

The judge will have the final say on which route we use for the AD. He arrives Wed. night.
Given that I am taking a dog in it, you can BET I'll push for the route with the least turns and NO hills!

would the AD route be with grass along the road/track for dogs to run on?  If I enter an AD my dogs are not conditioned for it - would not be able to run on hard surface.  Remember if I do come, I could only come on Sunday - my own club trial is Saturday.

From SS: (except AD, only Friday evening)

That leaves us out  :(

We have herding training on Friday afternoons, lots and lots of trotting. I can't put him in a 20 km AD that evening.
