Hi everyone I have noticed there has been many discussions pertaining to sheplovr, does she have a website that can be visited? If so what is it? Just wanting to see what all the hubub is about. Thanks

Hey sheplovr if you think "Schutzhund is kinda stupid" then why do you buy dogs from Germany from SchH titled lines? Just curious, this isn't a forum to put down the sport of SchH.

Well you just might be Dead wrong about Inko, since you seem to know as much as the Brandioddy or whatever. I made no promises to the man I purchased Inko from nor did he ask me. In fact I was going to condition him for the Pittsburgh Show in Oct, he said: No, what good to show a puppy for nothing, adult..YES!! I was ill at the time a bitch was in heat and have nobody to help me and Othello is young and never used, so I said put Gino in, had Gino dropped some 20 litters then that is a different color of horse, right? He only has 10 litters or so. He produces fine pups and hers went to S.C. that is a Beauty and going into Shutzhund, hows that sound.?? I am not on here to argue about Shutzhund. What I do with my dogs is MY business, I can voice an opinion, I live in the U.S. Closed.....And, I do not want branded with lies and labels.

sheplovr, I kind of felt sorry for you until this thread came up. How can you say that schutzhund trained dogs are killers and that they will fight with any dogs that they see out there? Let me tell you something... .YOU ARE wrong! you might want to make new friends with other people who know what they are talking about... your current German friends who's telling you those horse crap don't know what they are even talking about! It is all in the temperament in the dog... if the temperament is horrible and the breeder/trainer wants to breed him anyways... to add extra cash in their pockets they will force the dog to go all the way to a SchH3.... Any dog can get SchH3 if they are FORCED. Let me tell you this... my mentor who's teaching me the true meaning of Schutzhund has 2 greatest dogs in her kennel, their both showlines with SchH3 and their kkl. My mentor also had 2 little dogs... a Schitzoo (hard to spell the correct name, err!) which had to be put to sleep because of a killer cancer ( I believe) and has another dog that I don't know the breed of but he is a lot taller than the Schitzoo, of course. Theses 2 dogs are both rescues that my great mentor saved. Theses 2 dogs that are Schutzhund trained are the most lovable animals that you can ever imagine of. I loved them so much that I decided to have a daughter of one of them. Guess what?!? Both of theses dogs wont hurt a soul... although theses 2 dogs do not like each other but doesn't mean that they don't like other dogs. This unknown breed that my mentor has sometimes harasses the Schutzhund rated dogs and they don't even do anything... even if the dog is humping on them! I strongly advice you to go to a schutzhund club and figure this out for yourself rather than listening to other people.... you just cant trust people on their word anymore... you need to actually see it for yourselves. I have a question... since you are anti schutzhund... why do you continuing buying dogs that have schutzhund rated parents? Aren't you afraid that your dogs will bite other people, including other dogs with the genes? Why don't you start getting into American bred shepherds as they have no drives for schutzhund and don't have any bitework in their lines... only obedience and conformation.

Brittany, Am lines do not bring nearly as much money as do the imports.

My Bitches Mother Is a SchH1, kkl. She has lots of drives but guess what? Shes Certified in therapy work. This is the breeders bio page http://www.therapiehunde.org/birgit.html. The left dog is Questa... my bitches grandmother.. To the middle, of course. The breeder of my bitches mother.. To the right... I strongly believe that is my bitches mothers brother. I choose this match (Sorelle X Santos) Because they are loving animals with super temperament. They are both Schutzhund titled (Santos is SchH3, many times) and Sorelle a ScH1 altho she could be SchH3 but the owners of her decided that they aren't interested in the sport so their going to use this strongly potential dog to be a house pet, which is unfortunate.

Blitzen, Im afraid you're right on the dot there. The German Lines have such strong potential but unfortunately is people like sheplovr whos runing it. At least what sheplovr can do is to get a BH title on ALL of her dogs to actually show that theirs something to be bred. If I can get a BH on my Jake... ANYBODY can get a BH on their dogs. Theirs a lot of thinks besides doing bitework on her dogs. She can do Ob and Tr titles. This includes FH titles. Theses do not INCLUDE bitework! As far as sheplovr showing her dogs... all she can get are SG titles... If she wants V or VA title she MUST complete SchH titles on her dogs, which she refuses to so SG is her goals.

All OFA numbers since the mid 70's are on the OFA website. The URL is OFFA.ORG Just follow the directions and select "German Shepherd" and enter a part of the dog's name. I did that with the dogs on Pat's webiste and none showed OFA numbers. If you want to take it one step farther, you can search for dogs rated fair or good or excellent by checking the appropriate box one at a time. If a dog has a number, it will be there, that's part of the agreement when you send off an xray to OFA. If a dog is diagnosed as dysplastic (or has UAP) the hips (or elbows) will not get certified and that will be listed on the site unless the owners asked to have it removed. I do know of one Am line breeder who did that with his new champion. He was a unilateral dysplastic, did not get a number and the refusal was on the OFA site. Now the name is gone and he is offered at stud.
