Kreiger,
Very nice job, nice looking, nice working dog.  Keep up the good work.  Way to go.

Really nice work. The dog looks great, but  I would like to comment on your handling skills, specifically how you move very quietly and smoothly  with your dog, no wasted movement, nothing spastic or even slightly jerky, shoulders square, including throughout turns (nicely done, rounded correctly not weird and sharp or herkyjerky) changes of speed (very fair to the dog), and out of motion exercizes.  People might think that's easy to do but it is not, takes a lot of practice and skill.

Do you want an honest opinion on what you should fix or do you want people blowing smoke up your butt and telling you you're ready for the WUSV?

oh no Phil, he just wants smoke blown up his ass (kidding).  I'm sure he can take whatever it is you want to dish out, and in fact will probably appreciate any of your constructive advise,  or he certainly wouldn't have posted the video on this forum of all places!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phil I don't think he was saying anything about the WUSV.It is the first time off leash and a new team...I am guessing a new dog to him. Sure there are always things that can be fine tuned as I am sure they will be the more things are worked on but as for starters it looks pretty good....a little shaky on the video job but not bad.

Then tell the guy the truth.  Why not help him now before things with the "new" dog become habit and then are difficult to change?  Why do people feel the need is stronger to be PC than to actually tell someone the truth and help?  Could it be that the people offering the assistance actually don't know the difference?

I thought the handler wanted to know what we thought of his first off lead session with the dog.  Phil why not just come out and say what you think?  What are we all missing in this new team working off lead for the first time?  Would I like to see a higher drive state in the dog - sure, but I don't necessarily expect to see it the first time working off lead.  Personally with a young dog I would be using a ball so as to keep him in and reward him for working in drive, I see no reward being used, maybe it's because he wanted to film what he could do without a reward.

You look great to me.  Good work.  Very promising.
