Hodie, Bazza is correct! You have done such a great service exposing this person, on top of all the wonderful information, ethics and passion for the breed that you bring to this forum, that it would be a shame for you to go. That is especially true as Bartmess has decided to stay! :-) I know that you are receiving email threats. The reason is obvious. PLEASE refer that matter to law enforcement asap. Idiots who are stupid enough to do that deserve some time in an institution. JMHO

Take your break Hodie, I know you have health issues and don't need the stress the assholes dish out. I will miss your posts and so will so many others. Until you come back, and you must when you are ready, there will be an emptiness here. I would be remiss if I didn't let you know that, you leaving and CBSP staying, makes me depressed. 

I don't really think anyone but Whackjob needs to leave. I disagree with many people on this board quite often, including Hodie, and I make no secret about it if I disagree. However, when something like this is exposed, we realize how similar the rest of us really are. There are many people we don't agree with, and lots of people we don't like. That's just reality. But I see no reason why anyone needs to leave. Hodie and I are not exactly best friends- yet when this came up, she stepped up and told what she knew. She had firsthand knowledge I didn't have. I refuse to publicly slander someone w/out proof. The evidence was enough for me to avoid Janice like the plague, but not having been there, I didn't want to start a huge controversy on here: she is seriously demented as we have all seen now and I don't need a demented person w/a vendetta against me (Oops- probably too late now, lol).  I would've gladly never addressed her again, but she had to continue to try to provoke me by badmouthing my dog and being overall passive-aggressive after I cut off contact w/her.

My point is that there is right and there is wrong, and no matter how much we disagree w/eachother, the fact that 90% of us will step up to the plate and defend right, and fight wrong, is, IMO, a damn good thing for the dogs. Psychos may cry "terrorism" but a sane person knows better. There are those of us who genuinely care about dogs, and then there is...............................someone like DDR-DSH. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone so mentally unsound, but it is not the dogs' fault there are such sick people in the world. If she would stop keeping dogs, then I would simply pity her, for it's obvious she is not a happy nor sane person. But as long as she has dogs, there are potential victims of her insanity, and THAT is the problem. Everyone needs to make sure they do what they can to keep their dogs out of her reach, and out of reach of those like her. Sadly, there are many.

DDRDSH    I've read all your posts and get the idea that in some way you think that you are warning other breeders about ending up in your past situation. It's also plain to see that you accept no resposibility for what happened to you and your husband. Like many others here I know that the number of dogs in your care made it impossible for you to provide them with even basic care, in general I'm speaking of basic cleaning of kennels and feeding of dogs. My questions to you are as follow. 1. How much property did you have to house all these dogs in minimum size kennels, was it so limited that the dogs had to live in crates? 2. Did you not  realize at anytime that the number of dogs you had were approaching a number that you could not properly care for and if so did you continue to acquire dogs and breed puppies,if this  applies why did you continue to do so? 3. You continue to insist that your reasons were based on a no kill program, why didn't  you rehome the dogs where they had a chance at a better life then you could give them, was it that you couldn't sell them and refused to give them away? 4. Was your goal to enjoy  a succesful financial retirement knowing that the dogs were being housed in despicable conditions, if so did you not feel any guilt for what you were doing? 5. How many dogs are in your possesion now and are you breeding puppies as well, I would also like to know what you plan to do with the puppies if you are breeding. 6. Do you not have any remorse or suffer any guilt for you past actions, regardless of how this happened you must realize that you and your husband allowed it to happen you and your husband are solely to blame for this. You can try and justify it  anyway you choose, but the bottom line is you and  your husband are the only ones that could have stopped it before it got out of hand. 


IF YOU WANT TO DEFEND YOUR ACTIONS TO THE PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD PLEASE PROVIDE SIMPLE HONEST ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS, NO BLAME GAME, NO EXCUSES, JUST HONEST ANSWERS.
