*grabs a flak vest*

Just a casual observation here, but the dog I watched the most during hte males on Sunday was the sable, Buddy de Renauldloup (#21). He did well on the protection, but that poor fella was panting wheezing, and towards the end it appeared to me he was limping fairly badly on his right hind-leg.

Titan aside, a fast lap would've done him in. I believe he's owned by Tim Burke, who is a USA breed tattooer.

Not hating on Buddy -- I have a huge softspot for the workingline dogs, and I always love to see them present in conformation shows -- but does anyone think that might be a reason things were changed up a bit?

I'm not hating on Tim Burke either.

I think people are missing the forest for the trees.

Looking at one dog (who was prominant because he took VA), while overlooking another dog who arguably had the same stamina issues; he just wasn't in the lead so no one seems to have been watching him with the same critical eye. I

I'm quite sure a anyone would know if his dog couldn't do the fast lap, and I wouldn't put it above anyone in a position with some event clout to see if it were possible to mix things up a bit, and give their dog a better chance of finishing. Just wanted to put that out there for contemplation.
