It has been to hot for much of anything, except a peaceful boat ride up Holmes Creek to the springs.
Kes enjoys riding on the boat, but loves the water even more.

Beautiful Dog, we are in Florida too, and it is so hot I have been letting them out in early morning, and just before dark.  We are all waiting for the temps to drop, unbelieveable summer.

Where in Florida do you find such a place to take your dog to swim, looks like you can see right down to the sandy bottom?

Love the clear clean water.. Wish it were like that here in Louisiana.. You should see the gulf water coming ashore on the beach of Grand Isle. YUCK....Not very inviting...

Hi Rebecca,
I live in NW Flordia.(About 35 miles from Panama City) These pictures were taken at Cypress Springs, only way to get there is by boat up Holmes Creek. The boat ramp we use is less than 4 miles from our house, so we go often in the afternoons to cool off. The creek itself is not so clear, but you can tell when you get near the springs because the water becomes crystal clear. Looks like you could reach down and touch the bottom, but some places will surprise you how deep it is.
