I guess it would depend on who you consider as a "breeder".  A person who breeds for the RIGHT reasons generally does it responsibly and is a pure lover of their breed not just someone who's pumping out puppies.

I think it's only fair to a breeder to state that it also takes a responsible puppy buyer or owner to be committed to  that the cute little fur ball they paid for and do their homework BEFORE they decide to bring it into their home ie do they have the time, patience to train & housebreak, adequate space or daily excercise....more times than not breeders are not the one's that give up on their dogs its the owners who make that decission that's why it's also important as the seller to screen the people you are selling to.  Just my .02

When does the buyer/owner stand up and take responsibilities for their actions?

or do we keep letting them stick their heads in the sand and pretend they have nothing to be respondible for?

Just a thought

Oh Jesus, I see enough of this crap from HSUS commercials. I have saved enough animals off the street, out of shelters and even volunteered for a rescue. Rescues seem to be as screwed as some breeders. I was anti breeder until I worked at a rescue. Now I'm anti idiot.

EKvonEarnhardt - excelent point

person buys a car and person shoulg be responsible for maintaning it, person buys a house and person should take care of it apng pay taxes. person has a baby and person should be responsible for it until of legal age. person buys a dog and person shoud be responsible for caring for it.

what ever happened to personal responsibility?

At least it's not asking for money.

Feeling sorry for the dogs and cats?
What about the children?

While your surfing youtube why don't you type in 2010 Pakistan Disaster.
They don't have a choice either, all they can do for the suffering is endure it or die.

Do you think about stuff like that?

TM:
We have same disasters right here in our country   every year. Rivers over run leaving many destitute...no help to be gotten..turned down by government agencies,   men and women disabled by work accidents left to fend by themselves, turned down by SSI and SS all over the usa, many people victims of the FIres in California, poor and no one to help them. people in California stripped of water to grow their small poor farms with crops,,,no one helps them, they resort to crime or suicide and we just read about it..

I do not help foreign countries with money at all

I contribute where I know people on our soil get help.

no offense to those who do.

jmo

We have more dogs in the usa on the streets than crooks , yes the word Responsible has been changed to   I WANT ONE!
