What a bizarre thread when there really should be something else discussed on an international forum.  I for one do not think Ibrahim was scammed.  He got a really nice dog from the looks of things.  With male dogs you need a really long breath.  I had a puppy that they told me that I should think of putting a saddle on.  That was Galaxy von Ajaye who wound up dropping in his pasterns and being an absolutely correct sized dog and winding up Vice Sieger at the BSZS in the HGH class.  He was Koerklassed for life and then given the attribute of especially good for TSB.  Shortly after this achievement I had to neuter the dog for his own health:  enlarged prostate.

My point is:  Enjoy your dogs while they are with you for the years are way to short and if you have a moment's of glory with that animal, remain humble.  In a manno second they are "seniors" and still require the bond with you and care.

My big boy has been more than I could have ever wanted in a GSD.  Your little boy will probably do for you the same.  My big boy saved my life.  I will always be there to return the favor.

Good luck with your new boy.  He is very handsome.

This thread is not in the interest of the breed.  So, drop it.

sunshine, are you giving orders now? LOL

I think breeder/buyer relations are very much of an interest for "the breed".  How could it be otherwise?

Ibrahim, at this point in time I think you are correct, you will not be getting a satisfactory answer from Andrea, and that is regrettable. I think most everyone here was actually hoping she would step up and respond, one way or another.

I will remove the videos when I see you have removed your posts.

Xaro is one lucky dog to have you as his person.

Exactly what I thought Beetree.

 Beetree,

Though you were very hard to convince but you prove to be a very reasonable neutral person, you can remove the videos anytime you wish. I am removing the video links and the pictures in a minute. Thank you very much for enriching this thread.

A showline male was offered on pedigreedatabase - Ibrahim was interested in this dog and asked about  its seize.  The seize of this dog was told to be 62-63 cm in the age of ten month. The dog arrives in his new home, now 12 months old. His seize: 60 cm. A one year old male normally doesn´t grow any more, if he does, it´s luck.

Nobody who wants to show a male would ever buy a 12 month old male with this seize. These dogs are difficult to sell.  For the show ring they are too small.

But after all this male seems to be beautiful, if its character and the working abilities are like you wanted, you got a very good dog, but no winner on any show....

I agree with you Susie.

In actuality the dog is 13+ months and not quite 60 cm as of yet.

I hope Ibrahim keeps us updated on the height, because I am curious to see if it does grow even to a medium sized male.

by Ibrahim on 22 November 2010 - 20:11

Thank you Susie, what you said is the general rule and I hope he will make some exception but if he doesn't I will love him the same.

Red Sable,

Yes I will keep you updated on his development in general and of course on the height. So far he is of very good temperament and character, he is energetic and likes to play, he is excellent with other dogs and eats very well. He adapted very well to his new home and I see his pigment and coat is getting more beautiful each day.
The only thing which seems strange to me is he doesn't like to be touched and patted, no fear at all or running away but he doesn't like to be touched especially on the head. The excellent thing about him he does not come to me and show submission like my female does (goes down on the floor and peg for patting etc).

 PTR909,

It is dog related not personal. if it were personal you wouldn't be the first to point that out for me, some of the members who participated are old enough on this forum to know the rules better.
