This one has a happy ending though. It's nice to see that this cities Sheriff's department is taking full responsibility.

I have no idea what this thread is about. I sat here staring at BabyEagle's avatar for five minutes. I now have this weird urge to go buy a copy of J.D. Salinger's "A Catcher in the Rye" Thanks, Richard Cory

BE, I guess it went over your head. Now I feel like Denis Miller on Monday Night Football.

LOL Don!
It is great that the Sheriff's office stepped up also realized the dog was just doing his job.  I love happy endings.  Poor Champ tho.  He likely won't care to see another uniform.  Hope they work that out with him so he doesn't panic when he sees a cop or worse, become aggressive towards a cop in the future.

I'm amazed that this actually made the news and it was reported in a factual and non-bias way. Maybe journalism isn't dead after all!

Glad that the police department did the correct thing and that the dog will recover.

BE- that avatar is mesmerizing.

Don't feel bad, Don.  I did the same thing before I finally got around to reading.

Daryl, I'm sorry, did you say something? I was watching your avatar/slide show. To get back on topic, I think the media does tell a feel good story every now and again. It's just that the bad outweighs to good and it sells!
