Good post Prager... But its that way with any line....But you did make your point...

by jamesfountain98 on 11 January 2011 - 18:01

Quite a few people responded but nobody answered the OP question. He wasn't asking for opinions about he breeding, or if he was the type of person that should get a working line dog, or if he had time for an import and so on and on.

He asked specifically about this particular breeder/importer. If you know nothing of this importer/breeder why respond? Why ask the OP questions as if he is applying to buy a puf from you.

Thank you JamesFountain.
that's why I don't post to blogs often.
I have a trainer who can import for me. I know what lines I like and what fits my personality and
I'm just looking for some insight as to this importer since they are new to me and I don't want to get burned as I know how the import world can sometimes work.

Hans, you are if nothing else a consummate salesman.  LorOne there are many pups for sale here that you can purchase for much less with same lines. Vom Reichtal has a litter on ground from the vice working champion who is many times sch3 and a multiple sch3 female that has produced numerous sch 3 dogs her self and her litter mates are titled here in states many to sch 3 and are at least ofa good and she produced all pups in her first 3 litters with at least good hips. I am sure there are many others too with great pedigree for way less money than the cost of an import pup and the shipping.  Never heard of the people you ask about but good luck and happy training.

Thanks all who responded, however, not looking for a pup, looking at and for green young dog, a dog specifically held by this kennel and the reputation of such.  Appreciate the feedback received.

 LorOne,

My original post was to ask you why you are looking for a CZech line crossed with WG line before the grand old hens of this board jumped in with their usual BS. I would not like to go for a dog which is sold in Czech republic as a czech line and crossed with a WG line. It also reflects a lot on you on the homework you have done and that is why I was asking you to introspect on WHY???!!! I may not know the importer you are trying to use but looking at his bloodlines, it speaks a lot about him and also about you since you posted you are importing from CZech republic.

 Food For thought LorOne,

How many breeders do you find in Belgium/ Holland/ Germany mixing their bloodlines with CZech lines?

Wrestleman
I am and the poster was talking about   breeders of  Czech old style dogs. Vom Reichtal does not have Czech dogs at all. I have seen there some German show and sport lines and Malinois. They may have good dogs but not Czech dogs.
Also I  assure you, that my statements have nothing to do with selling. I am SICK  and TIRED of people ruining good name of old style  Czech dogs by claiming that they have them by often breeding totally 2 inappropriate ( often excellent) dogs together thus producing crap. I am sick and tired of people b reeding for one trait like hips and claiming that their dogs are all around Czech old style lines.  I am sick and tired of people plagiarizing names of Czech dogs and breeding kennels in Czech rep..
I have imported sometimes smuggled under dramatic conditions  first Czech dogs on regular basis to USA, Canada, Argentina,  and elsewhere   and I am often  sorry that I have done this when i see what people are doing with them here by breeding them improperly. Breeding dogs requires knowledge of genetics of the dogs on the pedigree and the culture who created them. I now understand why Turks do not want to export their wonderful Anatolian shepherds and other nationalities other breeds.
Please do not tell me that I am ultimate salesman. I am breathing and living Czech GSDs for 44 years now and I have sacrificed ney dedicated  for this blood line my life. I love it do not take me wrong, but do not call me salesman. You nincompoop!

Vikram I do not know what is your problem but I have hard time to decipher your ambiguous and convoluted  questions.
