Mudwick, we will be going to Olympia this weekend anyways. If there is one there, we will see it.

Niesia, I-5 between Tacoma and Olympia is quite a few miles. Where at in between is it?

What does inbreeding have to do with anything?

Mudwick is correct, I'll bet anything. It was an ooops, and not even on her property. I bought back one of my bitches and her "oops" puppies that I had nothing to do with just a few months ago. I did sell them as "oops" puppies and very cheaply, but to each their own.

Billboard? Sounds pretty commercial, for sure. I wasn't aware Jean had moved; I think she's still breeding off her property/out of her home.

Chaz,
I only stated what my mom said about a dog she purchased yrs ago.  I never said she claimed to be a breed warden or anything related to that. Also you said my mom bred a litter and there were no titles in the first couple of generations of that pedigree. What litter are you talking about? Please do tell us specifically what pedigree you are talking about? You have my full attention now.

Seems as though you always have a tendency to twist eveything I write when I mention my mom and you try to turn it into a debate. Yes I mentioned her, but no where does it relate to what you are saying about her. Being a breed warden is not what I replied about. However, since you mentioned breed warden, do you have qualifications that we could look up to you and consider you breed warden material?

Please stop addressing with we questions that you need to ask my mom.  If you have annimostiy towards my mom, don't take it out on me. THANK YOU!

Chaz, I will not responsd to your comments again about my mom, because I have a "not so good feeling" about what your intentions are. However, i will be waiting to see that pedigree you mentioned.

OMG. RH, I can guarantee you Chaz cares not about your mom. In fact, it's been rather peaceful here since she's been away. This thread isn't about NONA, and I don't think anyone wants a repeat of EVERY thread turning into a thread about her because SHE twisted it into that.

Can we please stick to the topic at hand? Thank you.

Jenni, you are correct. She is still breeding out of her property which is about 2 miles down the street from my house. Jean is extremely conscious of what she breeds. She is very big on health checks as well. Believe me, you call the vet to get xrays and say her name, they say immediately that anything they do must be perfect because she will not accept anything less.

I view health certs., titles, breed surveys, LEO certifications, etc. as the base line or beginning point for breeding. Not the end all, be all.

It's not that easy to get a good puppy from dogs with the certifications. and being labeled a "best dog ever" is no basis to begin breeding on.

It comes down to if one believes there are certain things important in moving the breed forward.

A bad experience from a good breeding is not relevant to whether the certs. should be done or not.

It is nothing more than excuses from folks who for the most part never intend to do them anyway.

Well it would be on the thread of the bicolor pup you posted a pic of recently. Your momma posted a pic of him months ago and I asked for a pedigree. I didn't see much on there of titles or health certs. No big deal though! If the best dog you have ever had is one that was purchased blind, that tells me that you need to do more research before buying. That tells me that one doesn't know what they are looking at when studying a pedigree or looking at the parents work, etc. I bought one dog from a byb. It was my first dog I ever owned. Loved him more than any other, but he was a s#!tter. I guess if you don't do anything with your dogs, it doesn't matter. Any dog will do. And make up your mind. You ask me questions and ask what pedigree, but you will not respond?------------------I wasn't trying to do anything. You posted what your momma has said, and I responded. You never mentioned anything about your momma being a BW. I did. I mentioned that she is far from a BW. What I meant is that her opinion is far from what I deem worthy. If we were talking auto mechanics and Joan River's daughter told me what her mother believed, I'd have the same reaction. Let me know if you understand what I have written. If not, I can put it in bold, so that it stands out.

Jaggirl47,
Unfortunately I wasn’t really paying any attention. I was coming home from Oregon. The only thing that I remember was how big and bright it was. I even commented to my hubby that it has to be a big commercial breeder to be able to afford such advertisement.  If you are travelling north of Olympia you won’t miss it for sure. It was a double V shaped billboard on a hill so you could see same add both going North and South on I5 with the pic of the W/L GSD on it. And regarding distances … It takes me 30 minutes on a Hwy to get from my house to any bigger than local store, 1 ½ hr to get to Seattle… So distance from Olympia to Tacoma and then to Seattle, doesn’t seem long to me… I spend countless hours in a car with my dog…

by jaggirl47 on 21 April 2011 - 01:04

Niesia, I will for sure look for it Saturday. However, she is not a commercial breeder. That much I do know. There are a few actual commercial breeders in Washington though.

Jenni, this is the second attempt that Chaz has made.  The first attempt was on "Pics of MY boys" thread I submitted.  This thread, I only stated what I was told by her. Now if he or anyone else doesn't want to turn this or any other thread into my mom, why comment on it and continue to mention her name? Why not just ignore it completely? Just asking.
I am just interested in Chaz telling me what pedigree it is that CHAZ said my mom bred.  CHAZ mentioned it first, NOT I.

Yes it has been peaceful on here. But I have noticed there are many, many that participated in the drama back than, that rarely post here anymore, if they post at all.  wink

Now, lets try to get back on topic.
