Chaz Reinhold

I guess I should have put it in bold, but look up. Already answered you. And your other thread I just stated that I thought those were Nona's dogs. Am I to know who everyone's relatives on here are? Get real.

Jaggirl47,

Please look it up and see if I'm wrong and it's somebody's else add.

I personally have nothing against specialized commercial breeders that breed great dogs. The breeder I got my girl from had 20+ dogs in a kennels few feet away from her house (I consider this commercial). Those were 20 best looking with great temperaments AmLine dogs I've seen in one place... And if you decide it to make it your livelihood to breed dogs, you have to make it commercial to be able to survive.

I personally like hobby breeding, when making money of puppies is not your priority – creating the ‘great dog’ is. When your dog becomes a machine to make money – the fun ends. That’s my take on breeding. I think that all originators of the breed did it in as a hobby in a first place, too.

Sorry Chaz I didn't respond as quick as you would like me to. I walked away from the computer.

As for you asking her for a pedigree on a pic she posted earlier, I can not respond to that. However, I do know for sure, she did NOT say or insinuate she bred that pup. Since I buy what I like, and no one else pays for it, I could really care less what you think about my decisions. However, if you choose to buy or breed dogs based soley on pedigrees, that is totally up to you.  If that is what you do, great for you. I will not say its wrong or you don't know what you are doing. I will say this much. just because a pedigree is awesome, doesn't mean the puppy or dog is as awesome as the pedigree behind it. JMO I will not judge a person's action by what he thinks. That person is the only one that has to live with his decisions.  Now if you could only understand that concerning me and what I do, than I wouldn't be explaining my opinion to you.

By the way, my mom IS NOT the breeder on that puppy. So for you to say she was, you don't have your facts correct. If you are talking about another pedigree you know she bred or she said she bred, PLEASE post it now. Or at least repost the post she stated it in.

Chaz, no need to put it in bold, unless you think you the bolder and bigger it gets the better chance you will have to hear yourself scream.  wink

All I asked you for, was the pedigree you were talking about, (you know the one you said my mom was the breeder of) since you said there were no titles for several generations.  But what makes you think that the pedigree you saw is the one that belongs to that bi-color puppy or that my mom is the breeder?  Thats all I asked. Maybe you don't understand what you insinuated?

Niesia,
Will do and I will post it on here Saturday. Regardless, Jean is not a commercial breeder. People that own her dogs can attest to that.

by dmdmitriev on 21 April 2011 - 02:04

Hmm, this Jean has more than 12 litter a year.  More than 20 breeding stock.  Sells old breeding stock after they can't pump any pups out (heartless? or a blessing for the dogs who live their whole lives in her kennel?).  Does Jean have another job? No?  Her job is to mass produce puppies?  Yeah sounds like a commercial breeder to me.

If this was an accident, why is the bitch listed along with her other breeding females and not with her up and coming breeding stock?

Why are the DOB of the bitch and sire not listed?

Sounds like Jaggirl, Jenni and Mudwick bought pups from Schraderhaus and are in denial.

by jaggirl47 on 21 April 2011 - 02:04

No, actually I do not have a Schraderhaus pup. I don't think Jenni does either but she will correct me if I am wrong. Mudwick does and I see her dog worked weekly. Absolutely beautiful dog.
DMD, do you know Jean personally? Or are you just bashing just to bash?

Duplicate, dunno why.

My personal opinion, if you must have it, is that to avoid crap like this on the internet, one should be straightforward when things like this happen. I don't think had these pups been advertised loud and clear as what they are, that this thread would exist.

Yes, someone with that many dogs is a commercial breeder. I have less than one quarter of the number of dogs she has, and mine are a full time job (or at least I feel that way most days, lol), so twenty-some dogs can hardly be seen as a "hobby."

Jenni78,

I agree that this thread is about breeding underage and uncertified dogs. I feel partially responsible for changing the subject. The ‘billboard thing’ was the first thing that popped into my mind when I visited the website via posted link.

So going back to the subject – I believe that you should give your GSD bitch a ‘life’ and let her fully mature before you send her into whelping box.

And again, I agree that being straightforward while advertising puppies is the best thing. There is no misunderstanding and disappointment in the end. Hiding information doesn’t do any good, usually comes back to bite you.
