Has anyone else had negative experiences with fordogtrainers.com or their other sites like german-shepherd-dog-breed-store.com? My first two orders with them went ok, but communication was poor, false notification of shipment and then no notification when the items finally did ship. My next order was for three M11 muzzles, all of similar size. They sent me two M11 muzzles and one huge muzzle for something a hell of a lot bigger than my german shepherds. The muzzle comes all the way up into their eyes. When I informed them of the mistake and asked them to make it good they ignored my emails for a week. Then when they finally got back to me they wanted to argue about whether the muzzle was the right one, asked for pictures, why I wanted to return it, etc. Finally they agreed to send the right muzzle with a return label for the other one. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no muzzle.

They also assured me they could make muzzles for my rat terriers so I go through the measuring process and place my order. A week later they send an email saying they can't make muzzles that small and tried to push wire basket muzzles at me as a good alternative. I insisted on a full refund, and they complied.

Then, fed up with their shoddy service and still waiting on my muzzle, I went to another site and ordered 3 collars. Well, surprise, surprise! When the charge went through its to the same company, Perzov ADI Ltd. I got the package yesterday and it only had 2 collars in it.

Obviously their primary focus is on getting your money. Service is secondary.

The only time I have ordered from fordogtrainers.com, they sent me the wrong bite tug.  After reading their return policy, I emailed them pictures of the wrong item that they had sent me.  They sent me a new correct bite tug and let me keep the wrong one.

I don't remember how long I waited for the new item.  But I got a free item out of the deal, so I didn't complain.

I ordered from them one time. Got everything I ordered but shipping was very very slow.

I got my training vest and a dumbell from them last summer...

I ordered over the internet.. they actually custom made the vest for me at no extra charge.

They had much better prices than the other vests I saw..  by about 30%, I'd guess.

I don't remember any shipping delays...  I really like the things I got.

Ive definitely appreciated the quality of the items I've gotten from them and I was willing to overlook the shipping issues but when they act like I don't know what I'm talking about, even with pictures like the one below to verify, its a little frustrating.

Try this link..

I have a REALLY nice german agitation muzzle from these folks..

They don't carry mine anymore, but have others.

I also have a very nice harness from them, and they repaired it for me when my pup managed to chew up part ofthe handle.

(I still haven't figured out HOW he was able to chew it, since he was wearing it at the time, and was sitting in his crate waiting for our turn on the field!!)

I ordered a training vest from them.  I like the vest but won't ever deal with them again.  I agree that they have very bad customer service.  It is almost impossible to get in touch with them.  I actually thought I had been scammed until I did a little research and saw that other people had the same problems.  I did find out that it took so long because they ship from Israel.  But, I recommend doing business elsewhere.

My packages say Brooklyn, NY but if its being shipped from Israel, they shouldn't be using a .com address

I have ordered from them one time... and they also shipped the wrong item. I had a hell of a time getting in touch with them to try and return it for the correct one. I was trying to order a harness for my German Shepherd.... the one that was shipped was HUGE. If I remember it took about 6-8 weeks to get it and another couple months to try and  get the correct item. I ended up shipping it back and got a refund. I tried several times to call them and email them to see how when I was going to get the harness originally and also the replacment one. They did not return emails or calls. I finally happened to get a hold of them on time on the phone and they were very reluctant to replace the harness.

I will NEVER order from them again.

Christy had it exactly right. Ships from ISRAEL. That's why the UPS shipping number sits in idle status for so long. I imagine they send multiple orders together, then separate the orders and reship from NY. So far as I can see, there's nothing on their site stating country of origin. As a matter of fact, with a NY address and international shipping rates for outside the US it appears to be a domestic company. Deceitful and misleading at the customers' expense IMO.
