Hello -
I am new to this sport but have a dog that LOVES to work. She is a 6 month old UKC registered female, which I think puts us out of the GSDCA-WDA Schutzhund. You may ask why did I buy a UKC registered pup? Her parents were wonderful, and I had no intention of showing or trialing the dog. Then I realized that she loves the work, she got her CGC at 6 months...
Now I need to find a club in the Philadelphia area where we can train. I've had dogs my entire life, but have never trained one beyond basic obedience. So I need to find a club that will be willing to teach both of us. Any thoughts? I appreciate any suggestions!

If you "do" schutzhund, you travel. So, go to a few clubs within your outer limit for travel (2 hours?) and see which you feel most comfotable in, which uses training methods you are comfortable with (or that supports a wide range of methods among members ), which has training days/times most convenient for you, etc. You are in a good part of the country for some quality training, particularly if you are willing to venture to New Joisey.

I agree Mystere! I live in NJ and travel to PA an hour and a half when I can make it to club these days. I train otherwise with Beth Bradley in NJ.
Find a club with folks that you are comfortable with and mesh well with.
