How do you correct a male 12-13 week puppy from humping every other dog and or puppy he comes into contact with?

Not picking at anyone specific, because it seems to me that a majority of people make the mistake of using the word dominate as if it were an adjetive.  Dominate is a verb, folks, what the subject does.  Dominant is the appropriate form of the word to describe the behavior of the subject.  A puppy that attempts to dominate is considered a dominant puppy.  I don't mean to be petty, but seeing misuse of the word so VERY often, I feel it needed to be said.

Get him one of those blow up dolls....sorry, couldn't resist.  I just redirected his behavior into something that he didn't really enjoy as much such as obedience without getting too mad at him since I was considering breeding him after titling him and was told not to punish the humping behvior by my trainer, but wanted to stop him from humping everything that stood still long enough.  The obedience was just a few seconds when he was younger and a few minutes when he was older.  That worked for him, not sure if it will work for yours.  Of course whenever he saw me, he would stop the humping, but I am guessing he still did it behind my back, evil dog hahaha.  He outgrew it later on.  Seems this is an annoying and sometimes difficult behavior to fix.

You don't stop it, you redirect.  You are dealing with a baby, as if you didn't know that, Sitasmom. You must be real bored.

Daryl, thank you for explaining the correct English. I find it is important to correct mistakes before they get ingrained, makes everything easier in the long run.

ok ... i want to be constructive here ,,, but direct .. : why is a 12 -13 week puppy in contact with other dogs ?? i have a 13 week pup now - her vacciantion schedule is still in progress as the vacc. was intitiated as to give her immune system time to mature .. so ..  again aside from diseases ... why let the pup hump to begin with ? why even let the situation come about .. do you keep this pup on leash ? are you in control ?  we make the issues .. if the pup doesn't have the opportunity to hump - then it won't !! use a leash and collar and keep the pup away ..
why not put your efforts in building the relationship with your pup . why does the dog have the need to interact with other dogs ..it can  learn to tolerate their presence and learn manners - yes .. However the pup  is for you ..  and hopefeully you are the apple of your dogs eye! so .. you have a domainant pup that displays dominant behavior -- now how are you going to learn to teach the dog what it needs to know and channel that dominance ? that is what your question or thoughts should be geared to .. IMO -. the dog must learn fast .. that YOU are the most dominant - you are it's world  & it takes it's lead from you .. and the lessons ought to start today [ in a kind loving way that is].

Generally he is not allowed to be out when the others are, but no system is perfect, and if my husband lets another dog out while this one is out, then he just has to go over and hump on it. I have not corrected him, but usually by me just walking past, this puppy will latch onto my pant leg and then regrip onto my leg before I can get a toy in range. I quietly put him in his crate. The only dogs he comes into contact with (my dogs) are current with their shots, worming, heartworming and are healthy.

I do baby obedience for 4 times a day for 10 minutes each, he gets 100% from of his food my hands. I do baby drive games with him also 3 times a day for 10 minutes each. We play with tugs, balls, leather flirts. Sometimes he prefers my legs and they are black and blue.
