Im still not clear, can a WDA member show at a USA trial if they have a scorebook from the USA, GSSCC, SV or other scorebook? Can someone clear this up and has anyone been denied entry to a club trial?

I believe that is THE key to this ............. the scorebook has to be USA stamped .................... by the USCA ...............

It sounded from another thread like the WDA scorebooks would be a no. But GSDCA-WDA would be accepted. Has WDA got new scorebooks that say GSDCA-WDA?

I already have a USCA scorebook from USCA for my current dog. Do you need a USCA membership card to enter a USCA club trial? My next dog will remain SV registered and scorebooked , not WDA gsdca ,but I plan on joining and training in a WDA club, and therefore , will be "kicked out" of the USCA.

If you really want to know why not go to the source? UScA 's phone # is 314-638-9686. If you call they will answer your question and you will know without any doubt what is allowed and what is not.

Because sometimes the USCA office dosen't know.

A WDA scorebook can't be used at any AWDF club events. USCA is an AWDF club.

Yes you can enter a USA event with a UScA scorebook but not a member. The E-ballot last year added additional fees for non-member entry and clubs were encouraged to pass the extra expence on to the competitor. However you MUST be a member of a WUSV or FCI member organization. You can not enter as just a WDA member, you would also have to be a GSDCA member.

you would not be "kicked out" of UScA for being a member in a WDA club....If the club allows you could be a UScA member in a WDA club. But that would be up to the local club. The only thing you can't do is be a member of BOTH UScA and WDA.
