Hi guys. I am trying to find some good books that are about the BH, like how to train your dog for it, what you do in the BH....books like that. If you all could list some, it would be of great help.

I would get the video of Ivan Balabanov, especially for a dog like Axel. The video is called Obedience Without Conflict and teaches all the skills needed to obtain a BH (and then some). Ivan is a world championship trainer and it is the best video series I have ever seen and it works on very dominant, stubborn civil and possessive dogs without harsh correction.

Keep in mind, that the rules will be changing as of Jan 2012.
A good club helps a lot, but if a Schutzhund club is not around, AKC clubs often have people that can help with heeling, footwork, etc. You just have to keep in mind the rule differences between IPO and AKC styles. (which hand to hold leash in, no double commands, etc.)

I second Ivan Balabanov videos. My brain went into system overload after the 1st 10 minutes! AWESOME videos. When ever I get "stuck" I go back and watch them....
