Not sure about how you qualify the racism part myself, but you go girl.

You like logic and fairness, I know that about you. In this case, what makes the most sense is probably why we understand the meaning of "cliche". Sad but true.
This family was not social with their neighbors for whatever reason. Pretty much they encountered them only when their dog roamed into their yards. While there are modest abodes in older parts of Wilton, new builds are not for the weaker pocketbooks. Add to the fact list: the sons arrest records. And the other clues of money woes. Well, I certainly could stick my head in the sand for the cause of the politcally correct, but a woman is missing an arm and a hand and that is serious business.
