Tif, you've got 5 years and an array of crimes to commit before you can be initiated into that league. Wink Smile

Dawulf,

If, in your case the utilities were shut off, your vehicles are unregistered and you allowed your animals to free range the neighborhood, then your situation might be a comparison for an adult living at home with their parents, and even extended family, like you do.

I don't think any of those things describe your living situation.

WTF ?

What's the 'cause' of Down's Syndrome ???
Rocky's supposed 'ignorance' ?    Puh-leeeze !

Downs' was just suggested  (by Rocky) as one possible reason 26-yr old twins
might still live at home with their mother;

.........so whats the difference??? ignorance based on down syndrome or criminal record based on down syndrom...both preposterous and that was my point!

LF, do you think Rocky could be addressing you instead of me? Her post to me has got me utterly baffled. I haven't said anything about the dog at all. I said I wanted to hear the lady's version when she gets out of the hospital and now I'm being "respectfully and curiously" (lol) asked if I've had some kind of trauma w/another human (well, sure, haven't we all?) LOL

Jenni, LOL...i dont think she knows who she wants to address herself, based on the opinions on thread  (officers shooting dogs) and post on this thread....i think she is blending it all into one ...but hey, with time and life experiences her opinions might change one way or another...

jenni....i re read her post...and yes i see what you mean...in red applies to me because I did said.."yes I blame humans" and I did list  ER experiences with humans...the rest...is mumbo jumbo to me...

I don't understand why you are trying so hard to force the idea that the humans are to blame. I am not saying this in a fighting manner- I would truly like to know. In our last thread you were very angry when I said that dogs are not worth a human life. I want to understand where you are coming from. Did you have some kind of traumatic event with another human? I really feel like you go out of your way to make humans look bad or be the blame in every thread on this forum and present the dogs as hopeless victims.

Just trying to add a little light in here guys. Wink Smile Of course none of that stuff is true Bee... how can I tell? 'cause I'm broke. LOL!

I agree that this is an awful story... If it [the actual attack] is all 100% true, then yeah, the dog has a screw loose or something - I don't care what breed it is. That is not a normal "attack", in my opinion, I have to wonder if the dog was starving or something, because it sounds like he meant to kill that women. And we all know that a predator in the wild will target the weak, elderly or sick, before they target the healthy prey. The article seems very "anti-pitbull", and we all know how much the reporters like to exaggerate on details. (purely speculating here... been up all night, can't sleep, tend to ramble...)

"dogs are not worth a human life"
THAT depends on the Human. Red Smile

Yes Jeni, I am addressing you. You are the one who has pointed out post after post all the reasons why this dog could be aggressive.

Since when does someone committing a robbery make them a horrible dog owner?
Since when does someone being poor make them a bad dog owner?
Since when does living with your parents make you a bad dog owner?

I will not address the personal attacks on me because they are beside the point of the thread and have no relevance to the questions I ask. I do not understand why you cannot have a debate without attacking someone else. It is the same in every thread in which you participate. The moment that someone calls another person a name, their argument ceases to be valid and any and all respect is lost for them.

As usual, the people that defend pit bulls go to any length to attack the dog's owner and attack any person that suggests the owner was not to blame.

As for lady frost....her posts are not visible to me, so the answer to your question is no. I was not responding to her.

ha,ha..well Jenni...it is all you girl..apparently since my posts are invisible to her but what i posted you did not disagree with you are the target of questionnaire... plus, since  robbers and criminals make great pet owners that is why any good breeder or rescue require home check, and rehoming fee, the vet check...you know all the things that responsible criminals, robbers, etc are really good about keeping track of....
 :)

....here is Rockys post from April...looks like her dog is capable of hurting a child, so if that happens she will call it genetics flaw and not her responsibility

PS> Why should a dog have to like children? They are loud, make quick motions, and poke/prod/grab. My dog tolerates children and we go to Petsmart and Lowes to practice meeting them, but if one grabbed his ears he may nip them. But guess what? He never gets the chance to because I only let well behaved children pet my dog. I am on constant alert when children are around, as a good owner should be.

Name-calling? Same in every thread I participate in? Bat

Can you make my posts invisible, please? I've never envied Lady Frost so much as I do right now. Teeth Smile

Jenni,

When you post on the internet you should do so expecting that others may not agree with your opinion.

If you wish for others with differing opinions to not reply to you, then why even post in the first place? True wisdom is opening your ears to other viewpoints and allowing the opportunity for yours to be changed. Once you believe that you are always right, it is impossible to learn anything new.

I have no idea how to make you "invisible" but if I did, I would not choose to do so. You are nothing more than a name on the internet that has an opposing viewpoint as I do. You do not effect me or my mood in any way. Perhaps if you took this forum as it is....an internet forum full of many people you do not know....you would not be effected as so.

I do not understand your constant need to add "smileys" or "LOL" at the end of sentences where you try to make rude statements that have nothing to do with the debate. You do realize that you and ladyfrost are starting to appear as nothing more than grade school bullies that are unable to debate and therefore resort to "bullying" the other person to make them stop saying their opinion. I am assuming that lady frost is not participating in the debate and instead attacking me personally too.

PS> I apologize for any grammatical/spelling errors. I am currently studying Spanish and French while abroad and the constant changing between three languages effects my writing at times.
