May I politely suggest that you may need to divorce yourself from propaganda, and learn to think critically?

by spook101 on 26 January 2007 - 14:01

PETA is a very dark organization. They do not publicly ackowledge their intentions. They believe no animal shoud be owned; dogs, cats cows, pigs, etc. That means breeders, pet owners, farmers, zoo keepers, etc, are their enemy. They believe that zoos should not exist, even though they probably do more to protect endangered species than PETA ever could. They believe all animals should be allowed to roam free. They believe that there should be NO pet industry of any sort. There are thick headed breeders and pet owners who endorse this organization, but do not know that PETA is anti pet owner. This is because PETA disguises their agenda so well.

Excatly. The official line is that animals should only be admired from afar.

So you are all willing to completely dismiss any good things they do ?? So mutilating and Torture is now OK to do ? I don't get it. give credit where credit is due, And like I said before I don't agree with everything Peta is about/does, But they have done some good work too, and to deny that for your own agenda's is a bit shelfish don't you think ? I am not being mean, so please keep it civil.

by spook101 on 26 January 2007 - 23:01

Knock off the sanctimonious bull stuff. You know there's not a person here that condones mutilation or torture, but you're willing to craft your argument so that if people don't agree with you they MUST be condoning animal mistreatment. How thick can you be? If PETA has it's way not only can't you breed dogs, you can't own one. Please tell me you're not that stupid.

by EchoMeadows on 27 January 2007 - 00:01

I'm not that stupid, But I am also not so stupid as to not acknowledge good things done as well.

Argh. PETA is a terroist organization, they support ALF. They show up at elemtary schools and torment little kids by saying their mommy and daddy are killers and they'll be next. That alone counters any preceived "good(?)" they have done or ever will do. Do more research on their true agenda before you tout "good" things they've done. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1913999390200944075
