In all the photos and video, I didn't see any dogs being conficated from DV is this contition...

This is the picture of a dog that would be 30% underweight....
(65 lb dog that should be 85 kbs for instance).

From a raided puppy mill in NC, IMO the dogs were in much danger and should have been confiscated,
but only in a way that it consistant the rule of law.

I'd like to see photos of Dante and the other 3 on the day they were handed over to Frank.

When Dante was removed from the home of DV, he was vet checked, his wieght was 59 lbs, his weight now 82lbs, Embroh was 56lbs, and now 80lbs, Embroh still suffering a bad skin infection and open sores, plus many bald spots.

Just one last thing, I wish everyone would just let this be, and know that tese dogs were saved, and living now the way they should be living. And no body stole any dogs from DV, they were either adopted or given to owners once they showed proof of ownership.People have emails from DV asking them to get the dogs from the shelter that they owned or co-owned with DV.

did you take photos when you got them?
if so, please share them.

i do not believe or trust anyone anymore.

if DV tried to fake co-ownerships, even more shame on her,
if she didn't, then shame on the people who are saying this.

NEW BALTIMORE — The pair accused of subjecting 39 German shepherds to unsanitary conditions and malnourishment in Durham in February pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the dozens of charges filed against them.

Dawn Verdeschi, 43, and Christopher Cella, 55, were arraigned on the charges Tuesday afternoon in New Baltimore Town Court. Each faces 32 counts of failure to provide sustenance, two counts of failure to provide appropriate shelter for dogs and one count of failure to provide sustenance for a Persian cat after the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA, removed the dogs from two Durham residences in early February.

Sheriff’s office and Humane Society officials at the time of the arrest described the conditions the dogs were kept in as “deplorable.”

All but five adult dogs and four puppies have been adopted, said Ron Perez, president of the Humane Society. The nine dogs are under a stay order while claims of ownership are decided in the courts, he added.

The purebred German shepherds ranged in age from a few days to 7 years, and some, including a male known as Dante, were award-winning international show dogs.

“Chris and Dawn are and were caring and diligent dog breeders,” said attorney Lee Greenstein, who is representing the pair. “These charges are untrue. When the facts come out, they’ll be found not guilty.”

Greenstein and acting Greene County District Attorney Charles Bucca both said the case is likely to go to trial.

“We were trying to work something out,” Greenstein said. “It didn’t work out.”

Since the arrest, friends of Verdeschi have questioned the Humane Society’s assertions and voiced their support of Verdeschi and Cella. Photos and videos of the dogs, they said, show healthy, well-fed animals — despite also showing an inarguably messy house. Perez initially described the dogs as thin, but not emaciated, while later press releases from the Humane Society called them “extremely emaciated.”

“It’s not a crime to have a messy house,” Greenstein said. “The charge is that they weren’t fed or given water or given shelter. It’s not true. The district attorney won’t be able to prove it. They were fed and cared for and loved.”

The case was adjourned until June 17.

Remember Courage?  THAT was an emaciated GSD.  Remember Patrick, the garbage dog?  THAT was the worst I have ever seen.

OMG Bay. I hope whoever did that to Patrick gets their fair due, either by the earth courts or by a higher power.

I have pictures for you SitasMom. Because I know damn well Steve Patch and Frank De Bem would never post them .

Here they are :

The first was taken in my yard 24 hrs prior to the "siezure" of Embroh ,the second taken when Frank De Bem picked him up from CGHS intact. I was going to post a third photo because Top Dog i.e. Steve Patch (google his name) still insists that Embroh weighed only 56 lbs at siezure and now weighs 8o lbs.

But then I realized where it was coming from  along with the fact that you have already posted a picture of an emacciated GSD weighing 65 lbs when he should have been 85 lbs. So just scroll up on this post if you need to for an example or 2. The latest photos from Bay Filly show the same examples of emacciated dogs. Where are those photo's from the CGHS or Frank De Bem, or Steve Patch? They dont exist.

Here are the photo's you requested of the day Frank De Bem picked Embroh up at CGHS along with the picture taken the day before the siezure of  Embroh  finishing his lunch. Enjoy! BTW these photo's are timestamped and will be entered into evidence. I hope the people that are  throwing stones and making false accusations based on a one sided story enjoy crow, because when I am finally allowed to talk I will force it down their throats.

Dawn, This is the last time I am posting here untill the trial.... But you do realize that I got Embroh over a month after the shelter rescued Embroh. I also have vet recrods that show his weight from 59lb when the shelter got him to 76lb when I brought him to the vet for the first time and now 82lb.... these are documented. So yes would love to eat crow and you justifying that. Let the trial begin I am tired of this S*it.
