I know you will Ibrahim, that's why I make you the offer.

I would ask only that you "Pay it Forward", donate to animal shelter, or something similar.

I am where I am at with my dogs, which is a very good place, by the grace of God, and the help I have received over the years.

YOU are indeed, a GOOD THING for the breed, dedicated, devoted and I so much enjoy your posts.

I will PM you some more of my plans for my little "cookie". She IS everything a German Shepherd should be,

AND SO MUCH MORE....

The longcoat pup has much better structure IMO than the black male.

You could breed it to a stock coat with good structure, and would get 50/50 stock coat/long coat puppies. That could be a start, though the lines would carry the long coat gene.

Ibrahim, I believe you are in a position to greatly influence the breed and its future in your country. If you were to educate people that coat color means very little, if you were able to breed the type of dog the GSD is supposed to be, per the original standard, I believe that you can make this happen. It may take 5 years to reach out to people who are interested or those who may become interested, but, yours may become the first place where the GSD is bred according to its standard, not some show or working or dock diving or whatever one.

Its a serious venture, but, if you have the time and the will, I believe that you and your associates can make it happen.

Ibrahim,

I have a nice male available. He is IPO1, black and tan (not show) larger but not huge, works like a charm, has excellent temperament, can be handled by a woman, good with kids and even small dogs leaves farm animals alone. He is going for breed suvey in couple of weeks. He is proven stud and he is all around very nice dog, handsome, working dog. He does muzzle work and can do IPO also. He has excellent tracking ability.

I can send you info. And if you don;t like the male I have, at least look for another one from someplace else (something is not right here)

I sure would hate you to end up with a crappy expensive dog.....or no dog after you send money!  I just really dislike the excuses those people are giving you.

I agree with GSDpack:   I think I would pass also, something is not quite right and this dog LOOKS nice to alot of people who are not educated to what to watch for, and you just heard from about 7 of them...

I know you are anxious and I love the black bitch as I have one...

Your posting this thread may result in you getting a good male to start a good training program just like many do here..Buy an adult male and then if you want a puppy female to raise and get more training to show people how to train and raise a pup in your country also

I mentor all my puppy buyers very strickly and stay on top of them forever

GOT  some new pics that I may start a new thread about Granddogs..

I like him Ibrahim, just on looks,  but am biased because his front half reminds me so much of my boy I lost last year, and I do have a weakness for blacks.  He does appear to have a very steep croup, I would like to also see him standing naturally, or as others have said, even better, a video of him. .

My bigger concern for you is how often people are 'ripped off' when buying dogs remotely. I would hate to see that happen to you.

I hadn't read the laterr posts, but just caught up with them....some great offers from people you can trust!

I like the LSC puppy very much....the solid black dog is also nice...but if I had to "choose" ONE...I would choose the LSC pup....JMHO.

*Sent you a PM*

Best wishes!

Sincerely,

Robin

I hope that this thread will lead to a breeder or 2 or 3 who will mentor the folks in Jordan and help them obtain good foundation stock. It's the right thing to do for the breed.

Ibrahim, it's too bad I didn't know about this a couple of years ago. The breeder of my female always had top-notch dogs, with marvellous pedigrees, though he and his wife were too advanced in years, and too busy to title them. He was also an extremely ethical breeder, with the good of the breed foremost in mind.

Take a look at this pedigree:  It belonged to one of his males. I am sure any showline breeder would be drooling all over it!

Now, guess how many times he bred this dog?

Exactly twice, because he didn't like the dog's structure and didn't like what he produced! The first litter was with one of his own females, and was the female's idea (oops!), the second was to a bitch belonging to someone else, who asked to breed to the stud. (And no, I am not going to reveal his name.)

This is a very good example of what can happen if you have to buy a dog 'sight unseen' (except in photos) through the internet. You pay good money, and a small fortune in shipping fees, then wind up with something that is not as good as you expected.

Unfortunately, this breeder sold all his dogs off about 2 years ago, and retired.  :(  Since he was going out of business, I am sure you could have got a very nice dog at a good price, and he likely would have given you a really good deal to help get the breed in Jordan off to a good start!

I feel this is a wonderful opportunity for anyone that breeds, not greeds, that say they are in it for 'the betterment of the breed', to get Ibrahim off to the right start in his endeavor to get his country and countrymen off to a great start in the breed.

There is no reason why he should nit be able to have access to the best dogs available, without the worry of being cheated!

A better candidate could not be found, than Ibrahim.  He has demonstrated his love of the breed over and over again.

I see several offers from the true lovers here to him, and think that it is wonderful.

I know I am looking forward to the years ahead to see his dream, realized.
