Hired Dog

by Hired Dog on 25 July 2014 - 19:07

Kim, Amen my friend, Socrates was a very wise man. I have a similar story, but, it would upset the sensitive people here, so, I will keep it to myself.

rtdm, I look at life this way..I have no power nor say so over how anyone does or says anything, therefore, to allow myself to become upset about anything someome said is both useless and unproductive. If someone decides to say something I find rude, I can always do what Kim just said, close this and walk away. My life is not defined by the PDB or this computer, as I alluded to above, I have a very busy and active social life away from dogs.
I do know something else though and on that, I will bet you anything...the law of cause and effect looks at everyone equally too, everybody pays, one way or the other and everyone reaps the benefits of their good actions....

gsdstudent, I am happy right now and I am working on making tomorrow a happy day too, even with a stunning girlfriend!

Hired dog I agreed with you on that point.  I asked if in your view it was ok to say anything you wanted regardless of how it affected others?

HD, nothing personal, but are you certain you are not '' harem blind''

rtdm, I have been often accused of NOT being PC. I do not go out of my way to be hurtful nor mean, but, I do speak the truth, in plain, clear and unvarnished terms. If I find your dog ugly, I will use that word, not, "your dog seems to suffer from a severe appearance deficit". I do not go out of my way to make anyone feel "bad", but damn, if a person is indeed stupid, they are NOT "minimally exceptional"...make sense?

gsdstudent, hehehehehehe, when I had a harem, you could perhaps accuse me of that, however, being older and wiser and not yet ready to leave this planet and very much in love with that stunning woman, no sir, I am not blind..

You say you follow the beliefs of Buddhism?  I would say not very closely.

gsdstudent  If you think I dislike hired dog then you have it all wrong.  I can strongly disagree with a lot of people and have great respect for them at the same time.  disagreeing has nothing to do with likeing someone.  at least not for me.

rtdm, this is where most people get it wrong...I am a human, just like you, living in this world, subjected to the same issues as you daily, not some monk living in a monastery on a mountain. No shaved head here, no long robes, no funny hats, but very comfortable with my beliefs and life and improving daily.
