Then my question remains  How did they get schutz titles and all the other titles if FCI or SV does not recognize them?

THERE are a whole lot of titles on their dogs...go to their website...'also   it is listed

Some of those dogs in the ad advertised before you go to their website have titles Champion in 5 countries...

AND then the Schutz   and IPO etc     I think this shows some breeders and these have black noses no albinos ...have done a grand job...

TITLES galore..someone likes them and has made a place for them..

Because ANY dog can get an IPO title. The SV isn't the only organization to title dogs in IPO.  And the BBS is recognized by the FCI. The BBS is also recognized by the UKC.

http://www.ukcdogs.com/Web.nsf/WebPages/Registration/WhiteShepherdSingle
1. Completed UKC Application for Single Registration

2. Copy of your dog’s registration certificate from a UKC acknowledged registry.
For this breed (also known as the Berger Blanc Suisse), we acknowledge any FCI affiliated registry.

3. Complete three generation pedigree (photocopy or handwritten pedigree accepted)

4. Three color photographs. One photo of each side of the dog and one photo of the front must be provided. Photographs should be of the dog in a standing position and on a solid surface.

5. Single Registration fee of $35.00

From the UKC Website.

Yes,  and I also know a mutt can get a Schutz title...Steve Leigh titled a german shepherd from the pound to a Schutz 11, many years ago and we had a dog in Houston in Spring Valley Club that was half pitt and he had a schutz 1 and never got the 11 as he attacked a gsd on field during his Schutz 11 ...adios...

it was for that dog.

But to see the magnitude of these whites ones and they go on to show them also so their registries must be entirely different from anything we have with AKC>>

I had never even studied the whites and the magnitude they have grown to in these foreign countries. I do know we have some kennels in Eastern USA that raise, breed and title their White Shepherds and bring them to Canton for sale at First Monday Market..

BUT not to the degree of  this in this advertisement..

I am impressed for sure.

Would like to see them work in person...

AWSA members are not required to enter information for their dogs in the White Shepherd Genetic Projects database but they are required to follow the AWSA Code of Ethics for breeding and they are encouraged to use and contribute to the WSGP database. The genetics project is not limited to just White Shepherds, it includes white GSD's as well. The project has been very successful over the years and it's something the White Shepherd and white GSD communities can be very proud of. The white GSD and WS community owe the genetics project founder Judy Huston enormous gratitude for her years of dedication to the breed and its health.

Yellowrose-The Berger Blanc Suisse (White Swiss Shepherd) was officially recognized as a breed in the FCI in 2011. :)

What "other" organization offers IPO trials and titles in the US?

by bzcz on 29 August 2014 - 14:08

USCA, WDA, Now GSDCA, DVG, RSV2000 and FCI trials that other breeds such as Malinois can host.

IF a membership petition was sent to the GSDCA for a change in the GSD breed standard it isn't mentioned in the minutes for their meetings. It appears that the wheels were set in motion at a GSDCA meeting in January of 2013 when it was suggested by the GSDCA's AKC delegate that the Board consider offering the long coat conformation class at future nationals and specialty shows. A motion was made and approved  to create a committee to study the matter and make recommendations. Another board member suggested that the committee include the white GSD in the discussions. (I'd quote that section of the minutes but I'm not sure I can do that here) And they were off and running.....

SECTION 1. Proposals for Amendments.

Amendments to the By-Laws, as well as to the Standard of the German Shepherd Dog, may be

proposed by the Board of Directors or by written petition addressed to the Corresponding Secretary,

signed by 10% or 300 of the membership in good standing, whichever is lesser.

I was informed the motion was done by petition. In the end it will still need to be ratified by a 2/3 affirmative vote of the membership voting, so it will be a membership decision. The only benefit I can see for the GSDCA would be more members and what goes along with that. I would not expect to ever see in my lifetime a white, liver, or blue CH if it does pass.
