I don't know that much about PayPal but I was told that if you have PayPal and want to receive a payment from someone who does not have it you can through PayPal send a request (using their Email address) and they can pay you with their Bank Card. You can also send a payment doing the same thing. VK you could PM SS and see if that does work. Others then could do the same. Anyone familiar with PayPal, let those of use who don't use it, if this is one way it works

You don't need a Paypal account to send money through Paypal. Just request payment and as Western says then the person can use a credit/debit card to pay securely through Paypal.

Thought some of you would like an update on the sick dog. I honestly thought we might have to euthanize her the other night, because there was so much blood coming out of her rectum every time she pooped! My first thought was she was bleeding due to hemangiosarcoma, or something just as deadly! We were very relieved when her bloodwork showed an elevated white cell count, meaning we were dealing with an infection.

She seems to be pretty much back to normal, and there's been no further bleeding. She is not drinking as much as we'd like, but she is very hungry, and keeps nosing her (empty) food dish as a hint.

We fasted her for 24 hours, then yesterday evening, K. gave her some broth that had had her regular kibble soaking in it for 15 minutes. She's now been started on a transition dog food with a lot of pumpkin in it. Pumpkin not only contains lots of water soluble fibre that helps to stop diarrhea, it is also an anti-inflammatory.

So far, so good, and everyone is heaving a HUGE sigh of relief! 

I will walk into my bricks and mortar bank early next week and ask the real life bank johny how I can do such. PayPal, ebay, facebook, twitter ..... etc will be life experiences I will never experience.

Great  news: Gennie, the dog we had to rush to the ER, just had her first normal poop! It's a little bit on the soft side, but absolutely NO BLOOD!! 

VK, you can do a direct deposit into SS bank account. But she has to trust enough to give that information out. You could also buy a money order or certified check and snail mail it to her. I have used Paypal for years and only had one bad experience and that was my fault, someone hijacked a friends email account and sent me an email which I clicked on the link, it installed a keylogger and my account was compromised, the great thing was/is that Paypal is totally 100% covered by fraud protection as are all credit/debit cards and between my bank and Paypal they had the money back to me within 3 days or so. Lesson learned.

 

SS, I wished I could help you out but I have a sick wife and a lot of missed work for DRs appointments and of course a work shut down not to mention DR bills and keeping my pack healthy and fed.

 

I have been where you are right now and worse and I just kept my head high and continued to plug away, things like this have a way of turning around. Wishing you the best as always and hope this turns around quickly.

 i do not want her or anyone's else's bank details period, i will ask the bank about the money order thingy, national long weekend so have to wait. 

The great thing is I could give you my bank account info and the only thing you would be able to do is deposit money in it. So, if you are game I am willing to give that info to you in a PM, lol.

I hope you can find a way to do it that makes you both comfortable. You are one hell of a guy to offer what you can.

BTW it is only a measly $50 so no big deal, i am usually a generous guy but money is tight atm and have knee surgery Feb 06 and they do not know the cost of the anethetist (spl) until operation is completed.
