Baby Eagle, are you for heavy taxation or against it? You seem to criticize taxes, but you would vote for Hillary? What am I missing? Better yet, What are you missing?

Trickle down has never worked. You have to control spending which Republican and Democratic congresses have never manage to do. Think about this In the first 200 yrs the US ran up 900 Billion dollars in debt. Since trickle down economics the National debt is closing in on 9 trillion dollars. That means we have run 8 trillion dollars in 27 years. That's not counting trade deficts with the world. Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton all raised taxes after realizing trickle down doesn't work without controlling spending. It wasn't until Pay as you go was instituted 1996 (I think) then this country saw surpluses a few yrs later.

Darn I forgot to reply to the post... I have had no problem with my puppy sales, stud services and training clients. In-fact I really can not accommidate them all right now.. I worked 13 days straight at work the last 2 weeks because we are so far behind "Welder, Fab shop". I do not have the time to work with everyone calling about training classes, in-kennel training and sport work. So as far as I am concerned things are going too well.. Spook101, it is nice to read posts from someone who understands how things are going and can state facts about our economy, unemployment and how the fed works......... Thank you... :-) Best Regards, Dennis Johnson www.johnsonhaus.com

Shelley, I'm with you on the Hillary thing. Just don't even like to listen to the woman talk she grates on me that bad. I don't care what party she's with. Oh and I'm already driving the tiny gas saving car with 3 dogs crammed in back. Husband's choice, not Hillary. Although in MI we have our own Hillary and her name is Jennifer Granholm. Barf. Look at the trouble this state is in.

Thank you Dennis. Trace, we're a consumer nation. We will always have debt. Trickle down has existed forever. It's just became popular phrase with Reagan. If you understand a capitalist economy you would not be able to deny that. Yes, it is possible to grow yourself out of debt. And yes, no matter how wealthy a nation you are, you need to control spending. The problem is everyone wants you to cut someone elses program.

Don't forget Hillary-Care. Tak about a flop... Now Edwards says HE has the answer to national health care, details unavailable at this time. (need time to dream 'em up or what?) Socialized medicine will never work in this country. None of the good Docs would ever accept it because it wouldn't pay them enough, leaving only the off-shore-graduate, ESL, C-average bunch to care for the masses. Kinda reminds me of health care in my little coal-cracker town...NOW. I drive 45 min. for quality health care, and pay the difference between what my husband's crummy union inusrance pays and the actual cost cash. LOL SS

hummm USA is the greatest nation in History but we do have problems,,Right now our biggest problem is both the Republican and Democartic Parties. (I usually vote republican). Both parties are now a fraud and betraying and giving away our rights and freedoms. Ten years ago I would never have voted for a third party but now wishing we had one with a serious chance to win.
