(1) I called your bluff and now all of a sudden the bet is too much. I thought you wanted me to take your money. What does it matter how much we bet if you are going to win? Not so sure of yourself are you spooky. I didn't want to take your money in the first place and now you pull the fixed income thing on me. (2) Nice try with the Ronnie, female thingy. Looking for help are you? (3) Arrakis: Yes I am silly. Humor is good for you. (4) Spooky: You have not conceeded on any level. You started out wanting a Schutzund trial and you still do. You started out wanting a "significant" wager and now you don't (I guess that is sort of a concession, but on my part, not yours). You have started training already, probably belong to a Schutzhund club already, have experience in training for Schutzhund already, and yet, you feel that if I look for a dog now, obtain it, join a club, learn the sport and what it takes, then train for it, all the while you have been doing your training, then it is a fair bet? I don't mind you having a little head start but I wasn't born yesterday. Remind me not to play poker with you and your "special" deck of cards. (5) I give spook. You win. You are much better at training dogs than I am. I don't stand a chance against your superior training skills. You are better than me, in everything. What the heck was I thinking, challenging your infinite wisdom and superior talents. I'm an idiot. (6) And just to make it perfectly clear so you don't have to keep bringing it up, yes, I am proud of being a Marine, proud of being a Sailor, proud of being a Police Officer and even proud of having been a Boy Scout. Surely there is something you are proud of spook....No. Okay sorry I mentioned it. (7) I do feel sorry for you though. Hiding behind that curtain, working those controls, pretending to be the Great and Wonderful OZ. Even afraid of stating your name. Pathetic, simply pathetic. I wonder what your father would think of you being afraid to tell your name. His name. I know what my father would have said. "Son, if you ain't proud of your name, do something to make you proud of it". Again, simply pathetic and sad. Now take your parting shots and I will not respond because no matter what I say or do to intice you to take me on, in ANYTHING, you will find someway to weasel out of it. My foot slipped, I wasn't ready, etc. etc. You are one sad, scared, little man, hiding behind the internet curtain. Goodbye and good luck with those dogs.

Why are you running dudley? You're apparently also proud to be a liar. You were the on who was saying his dogs were capable of training in schutzhund. Once you were challanged you started dancing. Keep up the soft shoe. And go tell your son that you're sorry for blaming him for your mistake. He'll be proud that you took responsibility. It will probably be the only time in your life. By the way Semper Fi....'70-'79.

Highly unlikely. Now pretending to be a Marine. HA. There ain't a Marine alive afraid to tell someone his name. Any Marine reading this now knows you are a liar, for sure. Mistake old boy. Your out'ed. :)

>>>>By the way, are you saying Ronni is not a worthy opponent because she's female?<<<<<<<<< I think that the sleeve would be a little hard on my middle-aged teeth.... >>>>Tell ya what old buddy. How about you and I get a "green" dog each (has to be verifiable that it is a recent green dog, maybe AKVeronica will ship us a couple). <<<<<<<<< I think my loving husband would kill me :-)One of the green dogs is his beloved Devona, if I ship her, I might as well pack my bags and go too! How about you use the dogs you both have, and set it up like PSA and Ring Sport? Surprise the dog with the agitator/decoy/helper coming out of nowhere in an attack, then whichever dog finally gets run off the field by an intimidating helper is the loser. If neither dog runs, judging the seriousness of the dog's resistance to attack/return attack might work well. I don't know that it has to be by Schutzhund expectations or rules. If you guys don't like that idea, get an experienced K9 police trainer (not handler) to set up the rules for you. My Jaks says bring it on both of you, and bring cash, he'd like to buy his mommy some new shoes! (LMAO)

Don't you mean boots. ROFLMAO. P.S. I do wish spook would leave Echo out of our fight, and you too. I don't know why he feels the need to re-direct like that. I guess he is hoping that you will help him AKV. By the way, he calls you Ronnie. Isn't your name Veronica? Do you know of him? Does he actually have a dog that can sit/stay? Just curious :) If you don't know, don't say anything or he will attack you, and make up stuff, like he is a former SV Judge or Vice President of the whatever (he won't be able to tell you because that would give away his actual secret squirrel name. I really think he is a nobody who has a half ass trained dog or two. That's my guess. One more thing. Everyone is so high on Schutzund, I just might have to try it. I never really thought of it because I was training dogs already belonging to others or dogs to sell them for specific protection needs. If (and that is a big if), I do it, Maybe next year or the one after, I will challenge you at a trial. I am sure you will best me ;-) Anyone who lives in Alaska is too tough for me, and those dogs gotta be tough also ;-)

by AKVeronica60 on 13 March 2007 - 05:03

Boots, shoes...whatever footwear you would like to finance for me ;-) You might like PSA better. Schutzhund is very precise and "choreographed". I think PSA would be big fun myself, but there aren't any PSA clubs here. I don't know Spook, and I don't know what Spook has, but some of the things he says sometimes leads me to believe he does train, or has trained in a Schutzhund club at the very least, and does know something. Me, I have two left feet in training. Our training director says about every other week that Jaks can go far if he can just get his Mom squared away...while shaking his head. It is unfortunate that Jaks has me on the end of his lead. Ummm...I live in Anchorage, so I'm not so tough. We actually have some nice culture going here. We get lots of international tourism in Anchorage, which helps drive the entertainment and amenities. Now, if I lived in a village on the North Slope with no electricty...that IS tough. I have DOGS I sold that live up there. My hubby was reading over my shoulder...he just pointed out that most villages in the North Slope Borough have electricity...HE put it up there! LOL.

Ronni, do you ever come down to the lower 48 and trial?

by spook101 on 13 March 2007 - 13:03

DRFNO, are you now saying you train dogs for protection? Are these dogs out of the pound also? Where do you get these dogs? You change your story quite a bit. That may be why it's just a little hard to believe. When were you in the suck?

by AKVeronica60 on 14 March 2007 - 04:03

I'm sure that as I get better at training, I will have to come down to the lower 48 to trial. Our trialing season here is just too short to get it all done in one short summer. I'm just a rank newbie, Spook. I did not title Jaks, he was halfway to the SchH1 when I bought him at 11 months. He had the basics down pat in all the phases. I hired a trainer who continued his training from that point to the SchH1. I should have titled him myself. I would be further ahead now in skills and I would have been able to say "I did it." Which I cannot say yet. I have a two year old bitch out of my first litter that I am training now, Arwin, as well as continuing Jaks's training. When I title Arwin, it will be Breeder Owner Trainer Handler "all my own"-- with support and help from my hubby and our Alaska Schutzhund Club. ;-) Lots of people here have already made that BHOT journey. I'm just following along after your examples.
