By the way, Freddy, I DO know what I would have done if I had been in your shoes; I have a lifetime attachment to the GSD breed and if I was under such duress as you describe - either in a war situation
or the death of beloved family, the LAST thing I would do is purchase a new dog, at any price.

The op says; 'Because This Threads And Websites Sign up Rules and The Reason This Site Was Even Started ; in In it's Original Form To Help Dog People Learn about and From other Dog People and All Aspects Of Dog's and Dog's Oand Was to Have Dog Experts Help Other Experts and Other Members To Have a Knowledgable Base of Information To Enhance Information On Dogs and Dog Ownership AND WAS NEVER EVER SET UP TO DO Psychological Evaluations AS WAS Done about Me on Here Asking PLEASE FOR SOME HELP , in An Area, Granted I Should Have Been Better Educated , and Didn't have Enough Information ABOUT MISTAKES SOMEONE COULD MAKE IN A DOG DEAL. '

You said you spent eight years saving your money to buy a dog equal to a special ops dog. The time to get on the forums would have been before you purchased any dog. You had a lot longer to research than the impulsive buyer who is usually a target of scammers.
What color is your dog? Does he look like the special ops dogs you saw in the military?
Seems like you had plans for buying a very expensive dog for long enough to research WHERE special ops dogs even come from.
The only thing to do now is give all the information you shared here to a lawyer and let him sort it out. And give your dog, who has been caught in the middle of this, the 'best of the best' care.

Freddy, I would love to know the name of this well known breeder/broker.
If this I true, you could possibly get more info to help prove your case in court, by others who have been scammed by this person...

If someone took me for that kind of money, you can believe I would be shouting their name from the rooftops

Kitkat, who forks over $42,000 for anything, much less a dog, without FIRST at least checking to see if the seller is legit ? And anyone who willingly forks over &42,000 USD for a dog is not being taken, unless they are mentally incapassitated. Even then, the seller would need to have obvious cues....even the op says people aren't supposed to make psych assessments.
He needs to go to a lawyer and let the lawyer figure out what can be done, if anything.

In case your dog came with German pedigrees, arrange an official DNA test with German SV. There are several people speaking a good English. Just open http://www.schaeferhunde.de or write to info@schaeferhunde.de

In case your dog is not the offspring of the pedigreed parents your lawyer has a starting point.
You need proof, no matter about the outcome.

Good luck!

Off topic right now, but do you like this dog besides the problems?

Sad for the dog, not?

Unfortunately, it is far to many times the dog (s) that get the shortend of the stick.
Greed is a terrible thing!

"I was In Army Special Forces and Used K-9's Long Before it Was Known All The Great Military use of Dogs and All They Could Do , Like Jump From Planes and Climb a 12 Ft Wall , Take Down Enemy in Silent Attacks. ) So, I Knew What Those Dogs Were Supposed To be Worth and I wanted For Myself One Of Dogs."
Most special forces dogs aren't registered, and they definitely aren't $42,000.

hntrjmpr, 'Most special forces dogs aren't registered, and they definitely aren't $42,000.'

That's why I asked the op if the dog he pd 42 grnd for looked like the dogs he saw in the military. Bet it is a beautiful b/r.
