I understand the creator part. I guess I was focusing more on current manager as being an owner. Thank you.

Those that can delete a pedigree or change the name are
* Mods
* Creator
* Current manager
This is simply because users where taking perfectly good pedigrees and changing them into completely different ones. (didn't know any better).
99.9% of the time the name is correct. If there are any issues such as changing v.d. to von dem or a slight misspelling, just send a PM to the creator/manager or to the mods. But this scenario is really low.
Most of the time you want to change titles, (work/show) or the picture or health informations, etc...
