Google for "Pirate von Arlett" and you´ll find the vid on youtube.
Same training as in the other vids ( heeling, bite pillow, prey ) - maybe for some it´s a big deal to see a "showline" puppy during training, I don´t think so. Why should this dog be different?

"Why should this dog be different"??

Not trying to be rude Susie in my answer here..
At least with this PUPPY they are working it and not just running it around a ring to show how it moves. They are spending time to work the puppy and develope its drives. As for doing bite pillow and prey work... I personally would not put to much pressure on a young puppy like this one.

I commend them for that!
Whether it is a show line, working line or a mix I am always happy to see videos of people working and spending time with the puppies and also adults. Better than just letting them sit in a kennel and doing nothing.

Jyl, I commented to the headline of this post, not to the quality of the dog.
This "showline" puppy is bred out of some pretty good "working" showline dogs - there is no reason why it should not work at this age at that level.

I don't even know why the breed is called a show or working line, are there two official standards?

Nice young dog with some talent/drives, and I figure Denis will get all he can out of the dog. Smart owner/handler to get a good foundation on this youngster.
