Hi...I know the difference between the working line DS and the pure bred long haired DS. I understand that the LH does not have as much working drive....Saying that...Is it possible to find a Long Haired Dutchie that I could work in SAR?

We have a two week old litter of dutch shepherds from knpv lines that go back to a PH1 female named, Winnie, that was a long hair, so occassionally we get a couple of pups with a long coat, it appears in this litter we may have a couple of females that are long hairs, these pups should have very good working ability and their dam, Izzy has produced several good S&R dogs, police and sport dogs.  If you have any interest go to www.vandaliakennel.com and see our website
