Love ya Ace, but aren't you being a little harsh?  Does Wade have to be a professional sport player for you to forgive him?
Ibrahim is entitled to his opinion, and is always polite when expressing it, no need to jump down his throat either.

RS - You know I love ya!!  And if Wade would just say that he:
1. Lies on his webpage about his dogs hips.
2. Admit that he should accept some responsibility for this whole fiasco.

Then I would have no problem.
You are right I was a little harsh but he keeps saying he "knows Hans" and that is clearly not the case.  He is entitled to his opinion on this but I KNOW Hans well enough that he won't kiss anyones ass who disrespects him either.  Ibrahim, for some reason doesn't believe that despite the fact the he claims he "knows Hans"  It is about the principle of the matter now.

I sit in a different seat as I have seen the so called "pics" Wade sent (horrible pics and not what Hans requested and I have seen the emails.  So to see all this play out I see it as a joke.  Just ba a man and say you f*cked up.  He hasn
't had that problem in the past when he goes ape shit on people before.  This whole dramma by Wade is nothing new.  Same ol Wade being Wade and us that have seen it are tired of it.

Whew! Whew! A great way to navigate PDB as an
introduction 101 on ___________(please fill in blank.)
I actually sense some posters are very sincere, as in Steve1
and others in this thread.

I am in the market for a GSD in 2012.

Welcome to the asylum, DDR GSD. LOL

Enjoy your stay. There are more good than bad on her, imo. It's just that the latter can be quite noisy;-)

Hans,
I am just a cop, those comments did not bother me at all and no offense was taken.  Now, the "petulant child" comment hurt just a little.  I agree that friends can have disagreements and remain friends.  I think you are a nice guy and I have a lot of respect for you.  However, we are diametrically opposed on the Bartmess issue.  I never called you an enemy or an animal abuser, I saw that your animals were loved and well cared for.  That was a little dramatic on your part.  I simply stated I could not be on a forum that she was allowed on.  It is a matter of principle for both of us and we choose to disagree.   I think it is best if I just let it go at this point.  It is unfortunate that we have some irreconcilable differences on that issue.

Regarding this thread, I think you are being very reasonable to resolve this issue.

Plsforever, other than showing a puppy, which is not typically why people buy a pup like that (though I had no idea they bought them for the name, either....), a damaged ear (which I don't really see in this case) is certainly not the end of the world on a working dog.

I have 4 dogs, 3 of which are rescues and they're all involved in schutzhund. Unless you want the dog to look pretty on the show ring, a funky ear isn't going to make a scrap of difference tot eh dog or t's working ability.

If it's just a case of getting rid of the dog as though it's something stepped in on the pavement, I'll take him on with pleasure. He'd go into schutzhund, working trials, agility, etc or some other activity he seems to do well at - funky ear included!

No an ear which is not standing correctly will not stop a Dog doing ScH, But if you want to get that same Dog Breed Surveyed then NO, you will never get a grade so if you want to breed it if it does so well in the Sport then that is out.
Other than that it can work in other areas like Police and other things. Looking at the Video which is not so clear i do not think the ear is right a few Pic's will show it up better, and it should be standing correctly by the time it is 7 months old.

Hans got me a great K-9 for my high risk security work. He had a partially floppy ear/lazy and I could not give a hoot one way or another because Arta had 12 street bites and was a true warrior. He saved my life several times and numerous other clients.
JINOPO is this:
Jiri Novotny, Jiri Pokorny, abbreviations of their names/acronym JI NO PO. So what? Jiri says this to
fix a floppy ear and I quote "Take him out at night and scare him, next morning, ear is straight!".
People ask me for Hard Dogs, not pieces of paper. If that piece of paper is more important than the K-9 and it's unconditional love and total protection, then, I would just go and buy a GLOCK or a can of pepper spray and consider my self "protected". Nyet. Hans was only brokering and probably did not know which kennel the pup was coming from, because, Mr. Novotny is the Breed Warden now of all of Czech Republic and you might want to conclude any dog he certifies could be called "JINOPO".
He and Mr. Pokorny have JIPO-ME Kennel which is Jiri JI Pokorny PO Melnik ME (village of Kennel)

People out there are always wanting something for nothing and if you perform some kind of due diligence, you should know the Breeder's history, dogs, training, rep. Whining on here and trying to get "FaceBook" like sympathy is truly a pathetic way to get attention. Me, I have been to Kennels throughout
Europe and USA and witnessed some really awful things. Experience used to count, Hans can rectify this situation because he wants to sell you what you want. He did that for me and I respect him for getting me a bad-ass dog.

CBQ K-9, Visited your website, do you really get money for those poor dogs? If so please spend part of it on food and healthcare for the dogs.

I personally don't see what having the Jipo name would benefit anyone, never see dogs from this name in any trials either schutzhund or police. MY problem would be the ear if he bought this dog for breeding then its a loss. I do not think many knowledgeable people would breed to a dog with a bad ear due to the genetic component that the dog will pass on this trait.
