I agree- violence begets violence. The man has ZERO cerifications and credentials, and to be honest, if a stranger kicked me and strung me up the way cesar did, I would probably try to kill that stranger, defending myself. His methods, are, IMHO, inappropriate and barbaric. He has run dogs on a treadmill till they died. I wouldnt let that man come within 50 feet of my dog. He makes it seem so simple but you have no idea how many hours of video wound up on the cutting room floor, nor do you see his failures.Stricly entertainment, which I, personally cannot watch, as I find his methods to be unacceptable and cruel.

The links have all mysteriously vanished... oone used to be able to google cesar milan and it was one of the fisrt things that popped up. Now the only one that can be found is the one with hte choke collar on the treadmill where the dog nearly died

I don't think anyone can judge his methods until they themselves have dealt with a headstrong dominate dog.
mentayflor, you just neutered your dog because you were worried about his behaviour. How are you doing with him now?
Honestly, with your attitude I can see why a stronger dog would run all over you.
Maybe you folks would rather see these dogs just put down. I know many that have done just that because they didn't have the gonads to deal with them.

BLITZEN, I love the perspective you offer of the newly minted 20-30 dog trainers popping up all over the internet...so true.
PRAGER, you are funny and speak with experience.
If one can see through the charisma they will see a man who truly loves dogs and is doing much to give them better lives.
He can not control the ignorance of naive viewers who generalize and screw up their dogs some different way than if they had never watched his show.
His basic advise is worth remembering and is so simple: exercise, discipline, affection and is repeated in every show.

Wanda, 9 times out of 10 the internet wonders end up taking a serious bite from an aggressive/dominant dog they are attempting to kill with kindness. Some feel as if being cashiers at PetSmart qualifies them as expert dog trainers
