The system I propose in my article "Rising to the Challenge" is for ALL GSD enthusiasts.
It caters for those who wish to do Schutzhund and the German SV qualifications AND those who do not.
ALL other GSD sports can also be catered for within the BRITISH GSD CLUB SYSTEM.
We do all our REGISTRATIONS with the Kennel Club.
Of course we can develop our own PEDIGREES, to include ALL that we desire on them. As they do in Holland, including a "registration" with the BRITISH GSD CLUB with each GSD pedigree.
Puppies bred from British GSD Club "Accredited GSD" will be the most sort after.
British Champions from British GSD Club "GSD Events" will be the most respected.
Breed Surveys from British GSD Club "GSD Breed Surveys" will be respected and regarded.
The opinions expressed by the British GSD Club "about our GSD breed" will be respected and regarded.

Videx is right. This must be a better system. Let the English type stay with the Kennel Club if they want. And Sue says, ‘I say we should use the KC as a Somerset House registration system only’.
If that is the case why on earth are we collecting questionnaires which will enable the organizers to say to the Kennel Club, ‘Look, X% of us think there is a problem with toplines’ or whatever? It is counter productive. The heart of the matter is Videx’s point. That is what people want to be consulted upon.

Why is this being debated here? Is this not what the meeting is for? The KC will be loving this, i hope all the opinionated people here will be at the meeting and put forward their opinions then. I say SUE B and AILEEN MATHIESON for president!!!! Videx we all know you will be there, you just couldn't resist, so i do hope you leave your rudeness and ill manners at the door!!! See you all there!!!!

My concerns for and about this meeting are many.
During my lifetime I have organised and attended many meetings, and many of them with many thousands in attendance, dealing with very serious matters.
Meetings need direction and a clearly defined and brief agenda.
With the closing date for the questionnaire being the end of this month, it is very clear this meeting is NOT a decision making meeting. The Breed Council will debate their response to the Kennel Club immediately prior to this OPEN FORUM meeting. The Breed Council is one of the three organisations that make up the GSD Partnership. The others being BAGSD and The GSD League. These organisations are the "decision making organisations" for our GSD Breed, here in Great Britain.
Therefore I am concerned that it will be simply a communication meeting. Something that could have been done in writing in the BC Magazine and via the Internet, which in my opinion is an excellent way to communicate to GSD folk throughout our country. Many will be unable or unwilling to attend this weekends meeting.
For me and many others, the written word is very important, and can minimise 'fudging'. I sincerely hope that a comprehensive factual report is given in writing to everyone attending this meeting. and subsequently available vis the internet. It would have been much better to have received such a report prior to or together with the questionnaire.
I am concerned there will be much more talking than listening at the meeting, and far too many will leave the meeting very disappointed, and that is a recipe for creating more apathy.
Potentially we could risk losing our greatest opportunity for a very exciting future for our breed here within Great Britain. A future many of us have dreamed about for decades. It is ours for the taking, we must not let it slip through our fingers.

DP was never going to miss the meeting, it just more of his turkey gobbling attention seeking ways, as he is never one to miss an opportunity to stand and spout on the rostrum and listen to himself, though I will give him his due he does regularly practise his speeches, he talks in to the bog bowl for that echo feeling and sets on the bog, his very own accession to his throne, now I do hope you have the red carpet ready for him to waddle on and have his soap box to the ready.
Now a little unknown or again a best kept secret, fact DP or GOD (you really must pay more attention Sue B) has been writing a book on the GSD and will be signing it after the meeting, we should all recall his last outing with the DVD he did, poor sod, still got 22000 in the garage he can’t even give them away with his puppy sales.

Jackie J - Graham Martin of Graychelsea GSD - and he first got angry with me because I support Fardogart - you see he thinks he is a good photographer.
He is also a friend of John Robinson, and blames me for finding out about a DNA test for JRD which identified Corjon Mark progeny as JRD Carriers. He couldn't criticise me openly, because he wanted to tell lies about me, anonymously. He is exposed and still denies it. A pathetic nobody seeking to be an anonymous somebody. PATHETIC.
He continues to lie.as JJ because he is afraid of lying about me as Graham Martin.
I have no intention of speaking, I have written what I want to write. and I can write more when I want to. I have no personal agenda and no personal ambitions, they are all fulfilled. I am 65 very soon and I live in comfort and peace, Which is much more than Graham Martin can or will ever do.
Whenever he spots anyone agreeing with me, or any of my suggestions, he gets angry, and attacks to undermine me. Completely failing to understand that only stupid people believe anything written by an anonymous entity, because their anonymity proves they cannot support their claims. What idiot would have 22,000 DVD printed, or what idiot would make public comments as he has described. An anonymous idiot for sure. Even his ex-friends at Essington GSD Club are aware of who he is, and are just as convinced as me, and others, that he is mentally sick.
In a similar way, old friends of Ray Sullivan tell me he has changed from a 'good old boy' to a 'bitter old man' - simply because I reported him to the Kennel Club and they found him GUILTY. So what does he do, regularly spouts rubbish on here about me. It has zero effect on me, because only stupid people believe such rubbish, and sensible people understand jealousy and envy and bitterness from pathetic and twisted people.

I thought i was Graham Martin? It has zero effect on me, sure it has that's why you just had to give yout lengthy reply above,lol. " Jealousy, envy, bitterness, from pathetic and twisted people" that has to be the funniest thing i have read since being told a book was in the pipeline!! N.B. NO NEED FOR 4 " ANDS" IN YOUR LAST SENTENCE, NOT GOOD GRAMMER. Your denials fall on deaf ears as everyone knows EXACTLY what you are, hence the reason you are your ONLY fan here. Need a title for that book, here's some suggestions.......
