 Sajid,

In some pups it can take more time. Just be patient. Give him good bones to chew on. And wait.

well, my pup is almost 7 months and he's got one ear up, the other is a little floppy.

give lots of things to chew on, don't massage the ear-bases, give good-quality food, and give vit C supplement - 1000 mg twice/day for puppies.  These will all help.  If the ears are genetically "soft" then there is nothing you can do that will help.

Also,  get him into differing situations and places every day, make him use them, and be interested in his surroundings.  Pups sometimes get complacent to their own area and the things they see every day, and stop being as alert to it as they could,   Many years ago, my friend and I used to "share our pups" if their ears didnt go up quick enough for us.  Hers would spend a week with me, and mine would go to her if necessary.... they came back with their ears up mostly, or at least going that way more.   Mo.

I agree with Hodie.

They are all different, but you can always maximize what you have.

I feed raw, and Pharaoh's favorite food is chicken drumsticks.

I started when he was a baby and his ears couldn't be more rigid.  He skipped the whole up and down stages they go through with teething.

Chewing through the bone strengthens their tendons under the jaw that help strengthen the ears.

Just make sure you don't use cooked bone, they are brittle and can seriously injure or kill your dog.  Raw bone is softer and crushes.

There are lots of other ways but this is the one that I know.  I use Ester C capsules and sprinkle it on my dog's food.

He also has a lifetime supply of deer antlers that he gnaws on all day, they get good minerals.  He is 26 months old and still loves his antlers.

My puppies almost always have their ears up firmly by 8 weeks, often 6 weeks, and they rarely go through any "up and down" phases - and I do not feed raw diet, especially to puppies.  I have seen and heard of too many puppies with serious and sometimes fatal impactions directly related to raw feeding including bones.  However, I agree that puppies chewing will help ears come up firmly.
