Steve, like a brainiac I deleted your email. I'm so bad about that, always deleting stuff I mean to keep.

You say are looking for a working dog, but you want moderate drives? By working dog, do you mean working line? I usually recommend a west german dog for buyers not looking for very high drives. I would pm PDB board member crhuerta to start, maybe email Judy Kavanaugh? I've seen some really nice dogs from her. The other breeders I usually refer to don't have anything on the ground atm, I think.

I know of a family with a male from Mike Diehl, he is an awesome dog! Lots of drive but his family has put tons of time and dedication into his training and he does great.

I bought a puppy from Bill Kulla and Jennifer Acevedo of zwinger vom Geistwasser (www.kulladogs.com). They are located one hour from C(hicago O'Hare in Marengo, IL.

You wore me out with you email. I like Kraftwerk for puppys. The kennel just set a record for the only kennel in the US to have two BSP dogs!

Good call meeting with Bill Kulla. He and Jen breed phenomenal dogs and they currently have an absolutely awesome litter on the ground. I have a female pup from Hilde, the mother of this litter, from a previous litter. Her name is Leyla and she is great, I couldn't ask for a better, more stable temperament! You can see her here...

I have seen some of her dogs. A neighbor has a male from her. He is a nice dog.

Re: Mittelwest... LET THE BUYER BEWARE! If you are looking for Showlines, there are other breeders out there that are just as good.
There was a post regarding MITTELWEST on this Database and it is now removed. Disciplinary actions were filed regarding this breeder by the WDA. Ask people to PM you personally re: this breeder!
There are many good breeders on here that would be willing to ship provided that you pass their qualifications of owning one of their dogs.
