When I got up this morning, I realized that instead of arguing with someone who doesn't have the strength of character to sign their name to their posts, I should be thanking those who have come forward to say some very nice things about us and other breeders mentioned. It means a lot to both Bill & I.

I guess it's human nature to focus on the negative, but I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who choose instead to put positive out there. Our sport and our breed need it...

Tessj10,  thank you! They are great! I will miss them. One is leaving this week and another next week <sigh>. I took more pics of them yesterday, playing together, for probably the last time. I really wanted to keep the two I held back, but it just is terrible timing right now. :-(

Thanks also OGBS for the nice comments and the referrals.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say what no one else would, I am not going to pussy foot around what half of you are thinking and the other half are the pot calling the kettle black, you people are vicious and you are NOT  helping young people and new people come into this sport. There is so much finger pointing and ignorance it is unbelievable, I have children who are more grown up than you. You all act like you know it all and if that is the case then maybe you should find something else to do with your time ( i recommend a full contact sport such as boxing) It is what it is, let it go and grow up. Wow!  Its gratifying to know there are many many good breeders in the region mentioned by the OP.

I am new to the sport and was a part of our club's hosting of the Regional Event....I ask these naysayers - "What have you done to help the sport?"  You point a finger and there is three fingers pointing back at you.
Afink:  Wow I like you dog a lot.  You can see his power! Good Luck at the Nationals
Jen: Congrats and good luck with that boy

Glad the  other Regions "Rock".  I am going back out to train my dog

The minutes were removed for awhile and I still do not see them on the regional group board where they were originally. I am not the only person to notice it as I received a phone call about said minutes being removed. You may have noticed she did not deny what he said. There were too many people around that heard it.

This is not about the N.C. Regionals! The title was asking about reputable breeders and that is what Bill said about himself. I myself would not train with or buy a dog from someone who is in it just for the money. Sounds like another big dollar puppy mill and as long as people keep supporting breeders like this they will continue to rub peoples noses in thier BS.

And yes you are correct, they are married even though she doesn't use his name. So as far as people not posting their names... I guess she's just as guilty.

So they WERE removed! Thats shows you what is going on but what do you expect

What I expect is to be jumped on again for speaking out. This post is about reputable breeders. You would think the originator would like to know the good and the bad about the breeders in question wouldn'y you? I personally don't see anything wrong with honestly no matter what name it is posted under. Everyone is fine when the input is positive but heaven forbid the truth be spoken. What was posted was Bill's own words and self proclaimed intentions. Your own words should be included when your reputation is in question.

Sell dogs, make money, and don't care about the people you're selling them to as long as you're lining your pockets.

Oh give me a break. Anyone buying a pup or dog from someone having more than 5 litters a year is, IMO, buying from someone who is in it for the money. Is this Bill guy (who looks to have nice dogs btw) wanting to get money from mass producing puppies, or is he looking to make money from training?

by Pat Relton on 28 September 2009 - 01:09

 Sad but true, AIR.
