Will you please keep to the subject, age has no value here and of no importance, let us enjoy the subject of the post.

Generally speaking...the Europeans have breeding strategies / programs.  The Americans buy what's for sale.

Experience does have value and is of importance here, ibrahim.

I agree to that Keith and all due respect to your knowledge and to that of Red Sable, this post is important to learners and beginners like myself and of great value and I would like to read the usual valuable comments from you and others ofcourse away from the personal pointed ones, that is all I meant in what I said above, don't hate me please.

Baloney it does Keith (I am over 37btw).  Many breeders and judges even older than you(is that possible?!), breed poor GSD's, and encourage the breeding of poor GSD's.

Age means absolutely nothing, unless of course, it affects your eye sight, which apparently it has.

Go ahead and hate me.

I don't hate you...I admire you!  I wish I knew half as much from all of the dogs I've owned and worked as you've learned from the four you've had.  I hope to be like you some day!

Kennel blindness knows no age limit.

I have an online 'friend' who went to the kennel of a well-known AKC judge to pick out a puppy. He showed her how he picked out the puppies with the loosest joints as future show prospects.

That pup rarely knew a healthy day in his whole life...

Maybe Keith, if you had better dogs, and did more with them then trot them around a circlle, you would have learned more.

Nice chattin' with ya.

There are quite a few people on here that have replied to this. I do not think that the poster wanted an opinion at all, but to rehash AM/Bred AMERICAN SHEPHERD vs. GERMAN lined German Shepherd.

All this thread has done is get people arguing, and no further response from the Lindenhill. Why no reply to other posters?

I hope we didn't scare him off.

Our breeding philosophy is simply based on what I like to cal the three T's(Temperament, Type, Transmission). In otherwords, does he act like a GSD, does he look like a GSD, does he move like a GSD of course according to the standard. I encourage everyone to re-read the standard As a breeder my job is to focus on the dogs we produce and continually strive to improve in an attempt to produce the animal that most closely represents the standard.

I would like to hear why he feels his dogs represent the standard.
