I know what you mean, Prager. It's like the dog has NOTHING ELSE. As long as it's black sable, has good hips, and has a big blocky raccoon-eyed head, it can cringe and hop and talk like a parrot for all anybody cares. Just one more way to screw up a WORKING BREED. It's not one shred different from the obsession with black/red in the show lines.

Sorry Prager,

I also was looking for good health and low litter zw.
But I don't knock breeders that know what they are doing when they breed otherwise.
I got the best pup I could get regardless of color. (from the litter I chose)

Your dogs look nice.

The dogs posted on this thread are all gorgeous! I love a good looking grey sable....and the black and tans, black and reds, bicolors, blacks...anything with a GSD heart basically ;)

I'd like to add that there seems to be another fad with these breeders...huge dogs. Which is fine, I guess. I just prefer my 65 lbs of rocket fuel (admittedly...black sable raccoon eyed rocket fuel *sheepish*)  to 100 lbs of brick.
