Pacosbear,i have alsp put it on my facebook,for all my friends to see.how are dog world monitoring the vote.is their system able to only allow one vote per person.wot stops are in place to stop people voting over and over again?Carole Spelman.

You can bet your bottom dollar that there will be everyone and there uncle voting on this poll when are they putting it to the clubs that is the most important vote not a poll where any one can vote

current position as at 3.35pm ..FOR 318........AGAINST 161.Didnt think that there were that many on the alsatian side??????Are they voting more than once or getting others to vote.i agree Jim H.there should be a vote from each individual clubs members.Carole Spelman.

I dont know how dogworld stop you voting more than once but i suspect it logs the ip address of the voter.

I think the KC should sort out the construction and shape of the breed first, this is a far more serious issue than what we call them.
Health and welfare should be first and formost and absolutely paramount, as far as i can see there are still unsound poorly constructed animals from BOTH camps being given top honours and this needs to be addressed and dealt with NOW not 2 years or so down the line. Then, maybe at a later date the name of the breed can be looked at constructively , but only when we as owners and breeders of this fabulous breed produce sound and healthy animals for all to see in and out of the ring, after all showing isn't the be all and end all is it.

The KC have written to ALL the Clubs, signed or unsigned, asking them to poll their members and send them the findings by August.
