The GSDL Council are actively considering the development of a system that would provide an opportunity for exhibits at GSDL/WUSV “GSD Events” to gain the title of GSDL/WUSV “British Champion”. We are making considerable progress on this important matter, and we also recognise this will have considerable attraction for GSD exhibitors, and for GSD Clubs who will host GSDL/WUSV Regional GSD Events.

We are obviously aware that if we decide to go down that route it will take a considerable amount of planning and discussion with all involved.

Abby you have me confused, please make your mind up, are you for the KC or against them? First you are trying to convince us we cant do without the KC and now in your post above you use We as in the Royal We , in which case you would have to be an elected member of the GSDL Council or possibly a delegate from one of the non signee clubs to use the term We in such a way. So, with the greatest respect unless the prior is the case, you would neither possess the knowledge or have the authority to speak at any level on this subject, since the initiative is still in the planning stage and yet to be discussed of which unless you are part of the WUSV affiliated group, you would have no input

Confused Sue.

First you are trying to convince us we cant do without the KC Read back, not what I said at all.
make your mind up, are you for the KC or against them? Neither, please read back and digest what I actually said in my posts

As for the statement - it is a direct quote from the GSDL website, so please don't get your knickers in a twist or bring out the giant bold lettering to knock me down with LOL.

I thought it worth quoting, rather than leave my speculations - mine or or anyone else's about the current situation - to prevail on this thread, and to eliminate any 'spin'.
Sorry it confused you, I should have put it in quotes.

ther is no point in arguing with mrs belfield . it is her way or no way , even when shes wrong. Trust me bar health checks & little bit o double handlen is all these german style shows ave to offer .If anyone tinks the judging is going to be fairer they are liven in cuckoo land .Ther  is certain feel good factor at mo wit them but trust me dis wont lastThese shows favourer the elite few who ave german connections etc & when pedigrees start being introduced to judges , well work it out

You say

trust me dis wont lastThese shows favourer the elite few who ave german connections etc & when pedigrees start being introduced to judges , well work it out

Well thanks for your helpful comments to new people coming in to this way of showing - its a big step forward from anything that was KC run - so obviously, you dont see the point of it, and so must own an alsayshun (according to your well managed obvious, and contrived spelling mistakes)  Why dont you come up with a good thread, that really interests, educates or is of value, because your drone is always the same - you may be right, the shine may settle and we may get a situation whereby the judging is not to somes liking sometime- but ALL THE ANIMALS WILL BE HEALTH CHECKED and you dont need to go to Germany any more to get titled, so get out yer ALSAYSHUN and dust him down and have a go.   Mo.

Mo

ave no doubt yur heart prob in rite place but prime example & this WILL happen . British sieger 3 year ago when herr buss judge he virtually said balko was best dog ther " but for problem at sieger show" .Now dis wasnt sieger show where he was exhibited it was german sieger 3 week before so dis dog was pre judged altough he was best on day he wasnt goin to win .Now people will ave to realise as at british sieger , irish sieger whatever not ALL dogs will be judge on day . If top winnin dog from abroad turn up no matter how he performs on day he WILL win. Now if & i hope this happens someday yu ave honest british judges at thes evets & I mean judge open class not puppy etc judgin on day mayb & just mayb yu mite get wat everyon hopes for, an event were health checks are in place , dogs judge fairly (without pedigree bein shown) & everyon has a gud time

ps

dont neeed to delibratly spell wrong ,even if you knew my name yu wouldnt know me & a alsayshun luver well  LOL

Nofear
I'm not so much arguging with Ms Bellfield as trying to help her get the knot out of her knickers  and put the record straight.

I also wanted to post the exact statement, since some attempt to put a 'party spin' on actual facts which is just a bit misleading.

I am FOR the new style of showing, but there is so much at stake if what you predict is to be avoided, and just shouting down everyone who dares to raise a question,is an example of what the future could, but shouldn't hold. I  ask myself why it is so offensive to ask these questions. Shouldn't this all be open and honest if it is to set a new dawn for the GSD?  Shouldn't anyone be able to question or comment, or are we already seeing the start of just a privileged few (who always agree with each other), being considered important enough to contribute?

Nothing changes.
