do you work with this man? and does your hubby or BF attend training with you?
by Jenni78 on 24 January 2012 - 22:01
As far as my husband/bf...I don't typically consult with others on matters such as who I will train my dogs with. I will train with whoever is best with my dogs. He can deal with it or not.

This is one of the best "commercials" he could have ever hoped to have.
To be fair to Steve, since this video is being bandied about on boards,
why not spend the same amount of time splicing together the parts where
he encourages his clients/club members etc? Helps kids with dogs?
How about some footage of him on the sidelines showing support for
his clients/club members trialling their dogs?
How about the hours of work he puts in getting dogs to be
successful after others have f*cked them up?
Naaah, that would be boring.
Better to show him in the heat of the moment
Some of you wanting to "rescue" these "poor women"
who are being verbally abused (and the men), should perhaps
give them more credit. If they really felt he was so hateful and nasty,
why would they go the distances they do to train with him?

No biggie to me really, either way..to each his own...
The helper work looks good to me...
But if this is OK and normal behavior and no one has a problem with it, who cares if it is posted online then, whats the big deal why is everyone's panties in a bunch about it?

"Cool Beans, like I said I didnt make the video or even know who these people are, just kept it up for a day, to continue a discussion of something most people dont encounter at training, on a different board.
No biggie to me really, either way..to each his own..."
Have you trained with anyone thats accomplished anything?
Seriously? It's pretty evident you have never trained with guys like
Dean Calderon, Gary Hanrahan, T Floyd, Lance Collins, Doug Deacon etc etc.
They all yell at handlers too. And they even cuss sometimes! Oh the horrors!
It's the shock value of it, it makes people pay attention!
If it means the helper doesn't get bit because of a slack leash or a
handler "zoned out", then what works is what works!
Maybe you should contact some drill Sgt's etc too, they should perhaps
lighten up a little and watch their language too
Now, let's all join hands and sing campfire songs.
Sheesh, I would hope the videographer remembers the toes
they stepped on today,
they may well be attached to the ass
they will need to kiss tomorrow

So who's the tool?
Some other places you might want to avoid so that your meat curtains don't get bruised include virtually any type of military training...the more elite the force, the more "abusive" the training is likely to be...and, of course, skydiving drop zones.

"For the ladies that do train with him, are your husbands or boyfriends present at training, if so, how do they like it? most MEN I know would not allow someone to speak to their woman like that..." ROTFLMAO! Really?!?!?!
To ensure my boyfriend understood, he came out and watched, all three phases! His reaction: "Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He felt for Steve! To train X amount of dogs is one thing. Add the handlers in there, another. Now let's add multiple dogs with one handler and switching mental gears; takes true talent. It's a wonder we haven't driven Steve completely nuts!
I invite all of you to come and train with one of the best. If not, well, good luck to you!
