Important alteration for the progeny groups on the Bundessieger Show
On their last meeting on April 21, 2012 the breeding board decided that in the future not only the dogs which have been presented on the Sieger Show can be entered into a progeny group; dogs may also be entered only in a progeny group without being presented on the Sieger Show with judgment of dogs in show stance and motion. This shall offer a better overview about the male’s inheritance to all interested visitors.

For exhibitors who take part on the complete event this is no alteration. The dogs can be entered as before, the male’s progeny is found automatically.

For interested members who want to present their dog only in the progeny group the following regulations are valid:

*      A conformation show rating of at least “G” or alternatively a rating in the puppy class (9 to 12 months). The show rating must have     been earned corresponding with the age of the dog.

*       For example: for a dog with the age of 17 months the rating of the puppy class is not sufficient; the rating must have been earned in the youth class.

*       The dog must be free from eliminating faults.

*       The dog must be at least 12 months.

A minimum number of progeny is requested for a progenygroup (males up to four years of age (as of date of birth September 1, 2008) 10 descendants, males from four years of age (until date of birth August 31, 2008) 15 descendants). For the presentation of the progeny group the requested minimum number of descendants must be present. Only progeny of litters which have been bred after the sire has finished his second year of life. We would like to ask all participants from abroad with other breeding regulations regarding the minimum age to pay attention to this rule.
