EuroShepherd

Maywood, you really believe that the showline German Shepherd is the only kind of canine capable of working for hours on end, every day?

Please show us some examples of your kind of ideal showline GSD.

So, normally we defer to showine handlers to work on stacking and working on ring training.

The sire is a true V rated working line and is very agile and fast at 10 years of age.  I will take a video of him with one of his daughters (from other litter), tearing around the property..   This is after 7 World Championships   .  No issue with constant movement.

Puppy is at the gangly, growth spurt stage.  No issue.   Good feedback on what to look for and how to stack.

Bahahaha I like how you try to take cheap shots and think that jogging with a WL shepherd will end with a maimed animal. I'm sorry, but I do run with my dogs, and bike with my dogs, and work my dogs, and none are maimed in any way. Ha, that just made my day. Obviously in your 30 years of experience of jogging with dogs, and thinking that the AD is a bunch of BS, which I'm sure it's because a WL can do it, that you've figured out that SL are the best dogs ever, have no genetic problems, all because they can jog! Congratulations you've figured out the puzzle! Everyone stop breeding WL dogs now!

Apparently we just need to stop any kind of exercise except jogging with our dogs for an hour a day! You must be extremely fit! I hate to tell you that having a dog just to exercise is just sad in my eyes. Get a Vizsla, he'll run with you! And I guarentee that they have twice the stamina that any SL you have does!

my female working line can trot run for hrs i use to run her every day on the 4 wheeler once she turned a year old slowly increaseing in distance this was in 80 degree weather and up and half the time she was passing me. she trots well at about 13 mph same as the show lines that i worked with a nice ground covering gate. but i have gone to seiger shows and seen showlines topple over from troting in a circle or them haveing to pull dogs you must have had a alien for a show line dog.

this same female is in training for SAR and she can track a mile at a fast pace w/o getting super winded she can keep going. can your showline do that ?

Apparently you're totally wrong Siantha, there's no way that your WL can do that! They're just for obedience and have no endurance!

Well Maywood, you sure do know how to rile up the natives, LOL! Your experience and perception is out of the norm, shall we say.

Euroshepherd, thanks for you input, I somehow over looked your post, maybe due to the thread being over run with BS, LOL.

Thanks Siantha ...You should see him now in the protection work he would put alot of adult dogs to shame.
Oh wait i forgot he can't do anything but obed ya right.
Here is another of my dogs that can herd all day long and she is NOT a large big bone showline female

.
Now isn't this want the german shepherd dog was bred to do all day NOT jog or run around the ring.

Eddie, my dog was gorgeous at 8,10, and 12 weeks.... Goofy looking puppy at 4-5or6 months. I think he grew up just fine:) You have a very handsome puppy out of some nice looking parents. Give him a few months, get help stacking and then take new pictures. I still envy you an Enzo puppy;) Mary
