There's always divorce!!;-) jackie harris

The past 2 years have been traumatizing. 3 surgeries for Casey James, Missie T's DM and the physical injuries resulting from caring for her,as she and I weighed the same. I dont think it would be fair to get a pup, as I can  no longer go for long walks. I killed my hips and back caring for Missie T, as well as breaking both thumbs, dislocating my elbow and fracturing my wrist :( It is not easy for me to give up owning the breed that will always have my heart, and I will always feel a pang when I see one walking down the street. However, I cannot relax, anymore- I always find myself watching every footfall of Casey James .For sure, if there was ever to be another one, it would be this one, as her eyes just speak volumes to me. I hope and pray she will go to a home where she will be loved and cared for, not just live in a kennel, in a run. She is just too special for that kind of life, at least to me...

--- >  I suspect one day you will be back here bragging about your new GSD

Like I said- if ever, it would be THIS girl, so dont make any big bets, Sue. LMAO! My DH is tough- after all, he is married to me. Self preservation ;)  If I held my breath till I passed out he would just step over me and keep on walking... he said no more dogs- not ever, but he was raving about a Tamaskan Dog he saw down at the beach the other day. I almost got a Tamaskan before I got Casey James, but the GSD has my heart and soul. Jack Flash saved my life, literally, and my German girl, Amber, alerted me to the fact that my kids, when little, scaled a 6 foot padlocked fence and were walking around on the frozen bay bhind my house...  There is just nothing like  GSD....

I know, Sue- I cant keep my eyes off her pic. I even printed it out and showed it to Casey James. Then I showed it to DH. Told him about the 5 yr guarantee- he said if anything was wrong, he knows damn well hell would freeze over before I  would give up a dog, so a guarantee would be moot, with me. He knows no way would I ever send a dog back, and replacement wouldnt work for us. (He knows me too well...) If anyone owned Casey James but me, he would probably have been in a landfill by now :(  I also just redecorated the house and put in new carpet and furniture. Talk about bad timing.... UGH! Why the hell did that ad catch my attention??? None of them ever do.....
Its her eyes... They remind me of Missie T's eyes.... I wonder if she is sweet, like Missie T... dont tell me...

--- > Marjorie, there is no greater tribute to Jack Flash and Missie T than to continue to let a GSD move into your heart.

Hexe, they will always be in my heart. Got 2 ( or 1 1/2 ....LOL- pup looks like a mix) off death row today- they are being picked up tomorrow morning- a 2 yr old male

and a pup

- the 2 yr old male's brother was euthanized for lack of space, yesterday, as they were all owners surrenders. I will move heaven and earth to save a GSD... That will never change...

Asking forgiveness is easier then asking permission !!! :)

She does look so incredibly sweet. I can understand why she tugs at your heart.

OK;  if something moves me like that;  if something grabs me like that; if something tugs at my heartstrings like that; If I know that I will be taken care of by my breeder emotionally, and financially and healthwise for my dog;  and NO not all things are covered here but you have earned this puppy for life.  You can only do your best for her and she for you.  And by looking at her which I have already seen a hundred times I would say, she is STILL calling your name, she probably needs you as much as you need her.  The end.  Best of luck  Nan
