Marjorie! So glad you are on the mend! Here's some puppy pics to enjoy...they always make ME feel better!

This is a (just turned) 4 mo. old female from one of Melissa's litters (Melba). She's 100% WL, and despite being a bundle of energy and mischief, is actually quite a sweet gal!

She loves to retrieve, and yesterday my co-op student and I were amusing ourselves by having her carry a rolled-up newspaper back and forth between us! She had to surrender the paper to the person at the end of each carry, which was the hard part of the exercise... Teeth Smile

I really should get updated pictures. They change SO fast at this age! These pics are 2 weeks old and already now she has both ears up most of the time, and is getting in her adult coat: a lovely, shiny ruff of hair around her neck and shoulders, and a large swathe down the middle of her back. I've also had to make her collar bigger not once, but twice!

SS she's very pretty; do you mean Von Ryanhaus, is that Melissa, Melba,??  All these different names are confusing;  makes one think someone does not want to be found.  Thx for sharing,  Nan

Nan, Melba is 'von den Roten Vorbergen' not Ryanhaus. If you click on her username, you will see a link to her kennel, and pictures of her dogs. Hardly hiding, IMO. She puts her real first name at the bottom of most of her posts, too.

Here's the thread where she first posted Eska and her littermates:

Few more pics...Eska and the cat are gradually working things out. Very hard to get good pics, though, as my camera has quite a lag between the time I press the shutter button and the time the photo actually takes. So, if the cat is taking a swat at the puppy's nose, I miss it completely.

Dressed up for Christmas! (Had to take it off pretty quickly, as she was trying to eat it...)

Chilling on the floor - both ears pretty much up!

Cat ready to pounce!
